Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 7th May 2023 episode starts with Samrat reaching the place where he and Mansi are supposed to meet with each other.

Samrat asks Mansi how dare she try to hurt Malti and Govind to which Mansi replies that Samrat dared to double-cross her by fooling her with fake property papers.

As Mansi says that Samrat cheated her by giving her nothing from his property, Samrat says that he would never give away his hard-earned money to Mansi.

Instead, he will give it to Nayantara and Prem.

Mansi says that he is making a mistake by making her his enemy which makes Samrat think a bit about the situation and he decides to act like he does not care about Govind and Malti.

Samrat tells Mansi that she can kill Govind and Malti as per her wish as he does not care about them and is not ready to give away his money for their sake.

After Samrat leaves, Mansi plays the voice recording of Samrat saying that he does not care if Govind and Malti live or die and laughs by herself as the real accident is yet to take place.

Meanwhile, Govind tells Malti that they should have lunch together after the children come back and Malti goes to the kitchen to make food.

However, as Malti turns on the gas, the whole house explodes and catches a horrendous fire killing both Govind and Malti.

Nayantara, Ishani, Mohit, Alia, and Prem come running toward the house and start screaming for their parents with tears seeing the house burn.

Samrat comes and tries to handle the situation while he realizes that Mansi is the person who did this to Malti and Govind.

Mansi watches the scene from a distance and says that the main event is yet to unfold after which she contacts Nayantara and asks her to meet.

Nayantara comes to meet Mansi where Mansi tells her that Samrat is the reason Govind and Malti died and plays the recording of Samrat saying that he does not care if Govind and Malti live or die.

Hearing the recording, Nayantara breaks down emotionally and decides that she will never forgive Samrat for whatever he did with her parents due to his greed for money.

Nayantara decides that she will leave Samrat forever and never return to him again as she will see her parent's dead faces in Samrat now.

Meanwhile, Ishani informs Samrat that Nayantara left saying that she has some work which makes Samrat anxious about Mansi doing something to Nayantara.

Mansi calls Samrat and laughs while telling him everything about her plan which leaves Samrat shocked.

Samrat gets threatened by Mansi as she asks him to come to the lawyer's office the next day to sign the papers for transferring the property.

Mansi hangs up the call while Samrat boils in anger as everything has got messed up in his day within one day.
