Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 9th June 2023 episode starts with Aruna telling Jagdish to break off this marriage unless Kashvi apologises to her. 

However, Kashvi refuses to apologise telling her that Suraj and Pankaj were force-feeding Veera and Suraj even pulled her Dupatta.

Arjun’s aunt gets furious and asks Kashvi if she will break their faces while Kashvi tells her that boys like them need to be disciplined immediately or else they turn into rapists, murderers, and whatnot. 

She tells them that being a woman she should teach her children to respect women and not treat them as toys. 

Arjun’s aunt is not impressed and tells her that she is not a judge to declare her children criminals and tells Nitya to ask Kashvi to apologise to her. 

However, Nayan tells Aruna that Kashvi will not apologize as she is not wrong. 

She tells her to stop covering her children's mistakes and teach them the difference between right and wrong. 

Aruna gets angrier and asks her brother what kind of people he is getting tying the knot with who do not think twice before humiliating them in their own house.  

She tells them that she will not let Arjun marry into this family now. 

However, Arjun tells her that no one is insulting them and only stating the fact that every man should respect women.

He also tells her that both Suraj and Pankaj will apologise to Kashvi. 

Meanwhile, Jagdish also sides with Arjun and tells Suraj and Pankaj to apologise.

Aruna begins to leave feeling humiliated but Jagdish butters her up to stay as it is her nephew's wedding and takes her on the stage to lighten the mood. 

Telling the DJ to start music he begins to dance and invites everyone one by one. 

Arjun comes to invite Mahima as well but she tells him that her leg is still in pain. 

After a while, Kashvi insists on Samrat joining the floor too, and threatens to not dance if he will not come. 

Meanwhile, Mahima is disappointed as the wedding is still on and makes a plan to run away with Pradyuman.

Later, Samrat collides with Nayan while dancing and tells her to meet with him as he has something very important to discuss. 

After a while, Romila sees Nayan and Samrat absent and goes to find them. 

Meanwhile, Nayan tells Samrat not to upset Nitya more and let the wedding progress without any hindrance. 

Samrat asks her when will she think about him who is still stuck at the same place where she had left him twenty years ago.

He still dreams of being together as husband and wife while Nayan tells him that it is not possible. 

Samrat gets agitated and asks her when will she think about herself as she has already sacrificed so much for others.

He also tells her that living alone is not easy and everyone needs a partner to live a life as after Kashvi and Mahima, she will be alone.

Samrat assures her that he will not let anything happen to her family reputation and will talk to Biji himself. 

Holding her closer, he begs her to agree to marry him. 

In the meantime, Romila is recording everything in the phone smirking to herself that now she will expose them to everyone. 

Meanwhile, Arjun thanks Mahima for fulfilling his dream of marrying her and invites her to the stage to have a couple-dance and promises to take care of her foot. 

Elsewhere, Nayan refuses to marry Samrat as Faridabad is not such an open-minded society and will not accept their marriage. 

Romila is disappointed to hear Nayan’s rejection and decides to edit the photo to portray it as a sleazy affair. 

Meanwhile, Samrat asks her if he should leave and go away from her if she cannot marry him.
