Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 16 Nov episode starts with Kairav making a painting of a lioness and cub. The lioness is Naira and the cub is Kairav. He accidentally spoils the paintings and fears he will be scolded.

Kartik and Naira console him and reveal they will not scold him as he did it by mistake. Later, Kartik wants Manish to check the presentation.

Manish asks him to come along to the office while Kartik wants to drop Krishna at the school as it is her first day.

Manish gets upset with his attitude towards professionalism while Kartik promises to be there before the time of presentation.

Kartik and Naira drop the kids and tell Krishna that she has to attend school with small kids. They hope that the kids take care of each other.

Naira goes inside the school to give colors to Kairav and scolds a student for troubling a kid. Zo Bhaiya witness Naira is the mother of Kairav and decides to take revenge.

Kairav tells Krish to stay away from him as he is a bad boy. Meanwhile, Naira wants Kartik to add some new life to their relationship.

Kairav doesn’t want to be friends with Zo while Krish and Vansh convince him to. He asks Kairav and other kids to complete some challenges.

Kartik dances to a popular song to impress Naira. Later, Kairav returns homes and asks Kartik if they should take the challenge. Kartik and Naira encourage him to take on challenges.
