Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th January 2021 Written Episode Update: 

Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 8 January 2021 episode starts with Kartik being depressed about Naira. 

Elsewhere in Goenka's home, Surekha wails about Naira while Badi-Dadi gets into trauma and she forgets about Naira's accident.

Meanwhile, Keerti finds Kairav in despair and the rest of the children console him. On seeing that, Swarna and Keerti pray for Naira's health.

On the other hand, Gayu remains in grief as she did not get any chance to apologize to her.

Further, the police declare that they are not able to find Naira and Kartik loses his control as he shouts at the police.

Manish, Akhilesh, and Naksh support Kartik and request the police not to stop the searching operation. Kartik even pleads the police that he has to take Naira home as their children will be longing for her.

Naksh and Akhilesh console Kartik while the police suggest Manish to take a decision for Kartik and take him home. Manish lies to Kartik that the police permitted them to search for Naira down the cliff.

As soon as Kartik listens to Manish, the police inject a sedative into Kartik and he falls asleep and they take him home.

Manish apologizes to Kartik who is asleep on their way back home. 

Meanwhile, Akshara starts crying and Kairav sings for her and makes her comfortable.  Later, the children wait for Naira's arrival. 

In the end, Kairav and the Goenkas get frightened to see Kartik in a worse condition.
