Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 12th August 2023 episode starts with Abhinav telling Akshara that he was scared that she will slap him while Akshara looks puzzled. 

Abhinav reminds her of their first meeting while Akshara tells him that what he has done deserves more than one slap and tells him to never again scare her like this. 

As Akshara thanks Abhinav for fighting for his life, Abhinav tells her that he has promised himself that he will live every moment of his life with her and Abheer. 

After a while, Abhinav requests Akshara to sing a song for him while Akshara tells him that she will sing as long as he wants. 

In the meantime, Manish thanks all the doctors for saving Abhinav’s life and tells them that he wants to donate to the hospital.  

Meanwhile, Akshara is hugging Abhinav when Abhinav’s heart drops and he jerks while telling Akshara he loves her.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu is pacing in the cell worrying about Abhinav and that he needs to be monitored constantly.

On the other hand, Akshara gets worried and calls the doctors. 

The doctor rushes inside on hearing Akshara's scream and realises that Abhinav is having internal bleeding due to which his blood pressure is dropping. 

Despite trying their best, the doctor fails to save Abhinav and he passes away while trying to tell Aksara that he loves Abheer a lot.

Akshara lets out a heart-wrenching scream and falls on the floor in shock while Manish and others run inside. 

On the other hand, Abhimanyu feels restless and realises that Abhinav is in danger. 

Neelam Amma, Muskaan, Manish, Swarna, Kairav, and Surekha are shattered to see Abhinav dead while Muskaan refuses to believe that Abhinav is no more. 

Seeing Akshara's condition, Swarna tries to wake Akshara and make her stand while crying herself.

Just then Manjari, Shefali, and Anand come inside and are shocked to see Abhinav dead.

As Manjari tries to touch Abhinav, Muskaan jerks away her hand and tells her that her son has killed Abhinav and she is swearing on him that she will send Abhimanyu Birla to jail for taking away her brother. 

Just then Akshara begins to sing “Apki Nazron Ne Samjha” and covers Abhinav with a sheet as if he is only sleeping. 

She tells Abhinav that he should rest and then they have to go home to Abheer who is waiting for him and then they will have to go to Kasauli. 

Kairav and Manish try to tell Akshara the truth but she is in shock and tells them to be quiet as Abhinav is resting. 

Just then Abheer calls her and asks her when will she and Abhinav come back and if Abhinav is back from Kasauli. 

Akshara tells him that Abhinav is back and very soon they will be coming home.
