Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 12th October 2023 episode starts with Akshara telling Manjari that she has to think about both the children.

Meanwhile, Manjari reminds her that she has accepted that she will bring the memories of the past six years but how can she accept this child who will keep ABhinav alive between her and Abhimanyu?

However, Akshara realises her meaning and tells her that this going to be her decision alone and that he will have to think about herself before thinking about anyone else. 

After Manjari leaves, Akshara is left with too much to think and arrives to pick up Abheer with a distracted mind.  

She is walking to the gate, lost in her thought when a ladder begins to fall while Akshara continues to walk without realising the falling ladder. 

Just then Abhimanyu stops the ladder from falling on her and asks her what is wrong with her as she could have gotten hurt.

He asks her if she is feeling alright and that they should go to the hospital while Akshara tells her that she has no clue where she is going and where she has to go nor does she know where she is. 

Abheer and Ruhi come running to them just as Abhimanyu tells Akshara that she is with him. 

On being asked why she is not resting when it is not her day to pick, Akshara sounds distracted and tells Abheer that it slipped her mind. 

Later, Abhimanyu tells Manish that something has happened to Akshara ass he seems distracted. 

Meanwhile, Muskaan angrily tells Abhimanyu that Manjari has asked Akshara to abort her and Abhinav’s child.

Abhimanyu and others are shocked to hear this. 

Abhimanyu Takes A Stand For Akshara

Abhimanyu goes on to question Manjari for saying something like this. 

However, Manjari tells him that he has enough experience of life to know what life will look like if this decision is not taken. 

Meanwhile, Manish and others are equally aghast at Manjari’s demand while Swarna tells them that to some extent Manjari is not completely wrong. 

At the same time, Manjari tells Abhimanyu that he will never be able to love ABhinav’s child the way he loves Abheer and this will create conflict in the family. 

In the meantime, Aarohi asks Manjari if she has thought about Akshara’s feelings and what will it do to her emotional state. 

Meanwhile, Swarna tells them that it was easy for Akshara to move on with Abhinav’s memory but it will not be possible for her with Abhinav’s child between them.

Elsewhere, Mahima also agrees with Manjari’s line of thinking while Anand tells Manjari that with love everything is possible. 

However, Manjari tells her that Akshara does not love Abhimanyu and if this child comes into the equation then she never will. 

Abhimanyu tells Manjari that she might not like it but he will not change his decision. 

He also tells her that he wants to give love to Akshara not give her pain nor will he put her in any situation where she will have to choose between him or the child. 

Abhimanyu Makes A Promise to Abhinav

Later, Akshara recalls Swarna’s and Abhimanyu’s words and feels sad.

Just then, Abhimanyu comes to her room through the window and finds her asleep. 

He puts a blanket over her and switches off the light.

In the meantime, Akshara turns around and holds Abhimanyu’s hand, making him stop. 

Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he is standing in the same place where he was seven years ago and that she should not worry about the baby as he will love her a lot.

He also apologises to him for Manjari and tells her that she will come around soon but he promises him that his child will be loved by Birlas and Goenkas. 

Ruhi Reminds Everyone of Neil

The next morning, Manjari serves oats to Abhimanyu but he ignores it and continues to eat bread jam. 

Just then, Ruhi arrives there in a hurry and collides with the table dropping the vase. 

She apologises to everyone, saying that she is growing clumsy these days. 

Ruhi’s words remind them of Neil and they all get sad while Ruhi tells Aarohi that she has apologised yet they are crying. 

Aarohi tells her that her words remind them of her father who was clumsy too.
