Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 13th May 2022 episode starts with Akshara thinking that Neil has planned a surprise and tells Abhimanyu to not ask questions to ask a surprise.

Just then Manjari tells her that only she and Neil are at home as there is an emergency at the hospital.

Abhimanyu asks about Parth and Nishtha and came to know that Parth is sent to the secretariat while Nishtha's friends have been in an accident and there is no light in the house because the inverter’s battery is dead and there is a powercut as well.

Akshara feels disappointed while Abhimanyu stops Manjari from doing Aarti and goes inside.

Meanwhile, Goeankas are excited to know about Akshara's welcome at the Birlas and are making guesses about it.

In the meantime, Abimanyu returns with torches and household help to welcome Akshara and apologises to her for their profession that does not allow others to take precedence over patients.

Akshara smiles with understanding while Abhimanyu asks Manjari to perform the aarti and asks Neil to play the music.

Akshara "Grah Pravesh" gets done uniquely and Manjari assures her of their love.

Abhimanyu flirts with Akshara while escorting her to their room.

Akshara is making small talks on the way to their room and asks Abhimanyu to tell her what he wanted to ask but he tells her that there is a lifetime left to talk about it. 

Just then Abhimanyu gets a call from the hospital about a critical patient and Akshara sends him to the hospital. 

Akshara enters the room to find it devoid of decoration and feels disappointed. 

Just then Kairav calls her and worries about Akshara being alone at the house but Akshara assures them of a medical emergency. 

Akshara feels bad but tries to convince herself that as a doctor’s wife she will have to be patient and brave. 

Meanwhile, Harshvardhan calls Aarohi to report on her old case and Aarohi thinks that she should keep her personal and professional life separate.

Akshara is talking to Abhimanyu’s shirt and opens her gift meant for her and praises it. 

At the hospital, Aarohi reports to duty while Akshara is exploring Abhimanyu’s room.

Later, Manjari is feeding "Gol Gappes" to Akshara when Abhimanyu calls her to apologise for leaving her on her first day. 

Just then Abhimanyu spots Aarohi coming toward him.
