Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 13th May 2023 episode starts with Surekha asking Manish if Abhinav can fulfil Abheer’s basic need for good school and medical bills which Abhimanyu can easily provide. 

Surekha also tells them that the court will not consider six years of upbringing against the family background, wealth and blood ties. 

Just then everyone gets silent seeing Muskaan at the stairs and overhearing Surekha.

Meanwhile, Abhinav is calculating the cost of Abhir’s needs and requirements and panics at seeing the number. 

On the other hand, Muskaan defends Abhinav telling Surekha that she has not seen a more rich person than Abhinav who has the capability of winning the hearts of people but maybe her definition of rich does not match their definition of rich. 

Meanwhile, Akshara comes to comfort Abhinav but he beats her to it and tells himself that he can earn all this money because a man’s determination can melt stones and he will also earn money for his son. 

Elsewhere, Manjari is making plans to build a room for Abheer when Abhimanyu recalls Abhinav’s resolve and tells Manjari to wait for the court’s ruling before making any plans. 

The next day, Manjari tells Abhimanyu to not think negatively as they will only win the case and her grandson will live with them, thereafter. 

Just then Ruhi overhears Manjari and asks Abhimanyu if Abheer is coming to live with them. 

Abhimanyu and others look shocked while Aarohi looks worried at Ruhi’s questioning. 

Meanwhile, Akshara calls her lawyer and informs him about her Panic attacks and tells him that she can have a psychic evaluation if it somehow threatens their case. 

At Birla's house, Ruhi tells Abhimanyu that she does not want Abheer in their house and reminds him of his promise to always be her poppy.

On the other hand, Abhimanyu and Abheer get surprised to see Neelam Amma at Birla's house while Surekha thinks Sarcastically that Goenka's house has become a refuge for casualties.

Meanwhile, Aarohi shouts at Ruhi for continuously asking the same question from Abhimanyu and tells her that neither he nor anyone else has answers to her questions and drags her to her room while Mahima looks at Manjari meaningfully. 

On the other hand, Neelam Amma is overwhelmed by the welcome bestowed upon her by Goenkas.

Manish also tells her that in their house daughter in laws welcomes her mother-in-law by singing a song. 

Neelam Amma looks surprised to hear Akshara and presents everyone with gifts from Kasauli.  

Surekha tries to belittle her gifts but Akshara defends Neelam Amma’s honour and taunts her for being unfriendly. 

Later, Abhinav is thanking Neelam Amma for coming there while Neelam Amma tells him that she cannot resist Akshara’s invitation. 

Just then Abhinav gets his first booking and Akshara presents him with a keyring with their family photo telling him that it will always remind him of their support and naming it “Khushiyon ki Chabhi”. 

Later, Abhinav realises that his first passenger is Abhimanyu’s sister who has gone to get cash from home.

Just then Abhimanyu comes to pay the cab driver and is shocked to see Abhinav. 

Abhinav tells him to add a rupee more to it and make it a Shagun as it is his first booking in Udaipur. 

Abhimanyu does as he says and tells him that may God fulfil his every wish except the one about taking his son away from him. 

Abhinav returns the fare to Abhimanyu but keeps the one rupee telling him that he values precious things over unimportant things.
