Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 14th May 2022 episode starts with Akshara saying bye to Abhimanyu while Aarohi tells Abhimanyu that Harshwardhan has assigned her to the Ramani case to assist Abhimanyu.

On the other hand, Kairav is worrying about Akshara who is all alone at the house but Manish tells him that Abhimanyu is away because he is doing noble work else he would not have left Akshara.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu comes home to find Akshara playing the guitar and gets romantic with her.

Akshara is happy to be finally be with Abhimanyu and is reciprocating the romance with romance.

Just then Abhimanyu wakes up and his dream goes away.

After a while, Abhimanyu returns home to find his room decorated while Akshara is sleeping on the chair.

Abhimanyu is saddened to make Akshara wait on such a special day.

Abhimanyu picks up Akshara and transfers her to the bed and apologises to her. 

The next morning Akshara wakes up to find Abhimanyu sleeping beside her bed and wakes up to apologise to her for not being with her on their first night. 

After a while, he tries to be romantic with her but Akshara understands his tiredness and asks him to rest.

Elsewhere, Kairav is worrying about Akshara and could not sleep. 

The Goenkas try to comfort him knowing the anxiety a brother feels after his sister's marriage.

In the meantime, Akshara comes to the kitchen to find Manjari and asks her what would everyone like in their breakfast. 

Akshara also asks Manjari what would she like for breakfast.

After a while, Manjari tells the Busy Birlas that Akshara has prepared her first Rasoi.

Hearing of Sabudana Kheer, Harshavardhan gets upset and scolds Manjari for not giving importance to his choice. 

Manjari tries to appease him while Akshara is surprised to see Manjari treated so badly in the house. 

Seeing Akshara seeking everyone's blessing Harshvardhan and others tell her to not do it every day and have respect in her heart. 

After a while, he also explains to her to leave the Goenkas ways and adjust to Birlas' lifestyle. Akshara is shocked to hear Harshwardhan’s advice while Manjari signals her to be patient.
