Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 16th February 2023 episode starts with Aarohi worrying to find Ruhi has a high fever and gives her medicine but Ruhi refuses to open her mouth. 

Meanwhile, Manjari tells Shefali that Abhimanyu has to make a decision or else so many lives will be at stake. 

At the same time, Ruhi throws the medicine saying that she will only have medicine when she will have a father. 

Just then, Abhimanyu comes there and asks her if she will make him her Papa. 

Aarohi looks shocked to hear Abhimanyu’s proposal while Ruhi becomes happy. 

Meanwhile, Suhasini gets a voice message from Akshara, telling her that she is coming to Udaipur with Abhinav and Abheer. 

Suhasini, Swarna, Manish and Muskaan become happy and excited while Kairav looks sad and anxious. 

Meanwhile, Ruhi goes to thank everyone while Aarohi asks Abhimanyu to explain himself. 

Abhimanyu tells her that he is doing this for Neil and thinking about his daughter. 

Aarohi tells him that Ruhi is a child and they should try to teach her to deal with this problem, instead of giving in to her demands.

He tells her that becoming Ruhi’s Poppy was his choice and becoming her Papa is his choice too. 

He tells her that he is scared of losing Ruhi because she might one day realise the difference between Papa and Poppy and get away from him. 

Abhimanyu tells her that he is alive because of Ruhi and if something happened to Ruhi today, he wouldn't be able to do anything.

He tells her that if she does not want to go with this, then he will understand and make Ruhi understand too. 

However, Aarohi tells him to promise her that if he decides to become Ruhi’s father, then he cannot go back on his word. 

Abhimanyu promises her by saying he will not change his decision. 

Meanwhile, Akshara gets burnt in her kitchen and wonders if her decision to go to Udaipur is dangerous for her family. 

On the other hand, Ruhi thanks God for fulfilling her wish and thanks Abhimanyu and Aarohi. 

Meanwhile, Abheer requests Akshara to go to Udaipur by plane but Akshara refuses. 

However, Abhinav tells her that he wants to make this experience memorable for Abheer and her and that, she should not worry too much about it. 

Meanwhile, Ruhi tells everyone that Abhimanyu and Aarohi are getting married. 

Manjari becomes overjoyed to hear this news while Mahima looks sceptical. 

Later, Aarohi tells them that they should keep this news from the Goenka's until after Suhasini's birthday as Kairav and Manish might not understand this decision.

Meanwhile, Akshara is tallying the expenses and her savings when she gets a call from Kairav for the first time and becomes happy. 

However, Akshara’s happiness turns sad when Kairav tells her to not come to Udaipur and be happy in her own world as they do not need her.
