Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 16th May 2023 episode starts with Abhimanyu coming to take Abheer home while he refuses to hold his hand. 

On the other hand, Manjari accuses Aarohi of telling Abheer to go.

She tells her that kids have a habit of fighting with each other and they make up that easily too but that does not mean sending one out of the house for another. 

Aarohi tells Manjari that she has not said any such thing while Manjari tells her that she understands that she is upset because of having Akshara back in Udaipur but she has no right to separate Abhimanyu from his son

Aarohi's Slip of Tongue

Aarohi bursts into anger and tells her that she understands that all her ties in this house are superficial or else she should not have to explain herself. 

She tells Manjari that ever since Abheer came into their life, all they can think about is him and he has put aside Ruhi and her as if they do not exist. 

Aarohi tells her that Ruhi is getting hurt every day because all they care about now is Abheer. 

However, she has only told Abheer that Ruhi will need time to adjust because her Poppy is the only one for Ruhi. 

Manjari accuses her of being selfish in love for not caring about breaking the hearts of other people including Abheer who will be equally hurt upon finding out the truth. 

Interrupting Manjari from speaking, Aarohi tells her that she has been quiet for too long and said nothing when they filed for Abheer’s custody or when Abhimanyu postponed the marriage.

She says that she has been quiet ever since Gangaur when she found out about Abheer only because she wanted everyone’s happiness. 

Manjari looks shocked to hear that Aarohi knew about it from before while Asrohi realises what she has said. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu returns and questions Manjari about what is wrong while Manjari questions Aarohi for being so heartless to not tell her about Abheer. 

Abhimanyu is shocked to hear that Aarohi knew about Abheer before anyone of them. 

Muskaan's Confession shocks Kairav

On the other hand, Neelam Amma asks Kairav about Muskaan’s condition while Surekha accuses her of adopting the sins of city life. 

Meanwhile, Kairav defends Muskaan telling everyone that someone at the office spiked her drink when she came to give his file. 

Surekha asks Muskaan why did she go to give the file and why was she so concerned when no one else in the house was. 

Muskaan gets agitated and tells Surekha that she and Kairav like each other a lot. 

However, Kairav tells Muskaan that it is not true that he likes her and asks her when has he ever said anything about liking her. 

Muskaan looks shocked and tells him that she heard him say it to someone and he has also sent the people away who brought her proposal. 

Explaining his position, Kairav tells her that he has told her that he does not believe in relationships or love and he only cares for her as a member of this family and Abhinav’s sister. 

Abhimanyu Confronts Aarohi

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu asks Aarohi if it is really true that she knew about Ahbeer and yet she betrayed him.

However, Aarohi tells him that it is not her but him who has betrayed Ruhi. 

She reminds him of the promise of becoming Ruhi’s father but now he has forgotten all about it since Abheer is in his life. 

Aarohi accuses him of ignoring Ruhi in favour of Abheer and that is why she never told him about Abheer. 

She tells him that she got scared for Ruhi as she cannot see Ruhi hurting and she is not sorry about what she has done. 

Aarohi accuses him of being mad about Abheer just as he was for Akshara and accuses Manjari of supporting Abhimanyu instead of thinking about Ruhi. 

Telling Abhimanyu and Manjari that they are being selfish by filing for Abheer’s custody, Aarohi says that Abheer will never be happy without Akshara and Abhinav.

However, they are not considering Abheer's happiness in their determination to bring him home. 

On hearing Aarohi wishing Abhimanyu to never get Abheer's custody, Manjari tells her to stop being ungrateful and tells her that Abheer will come to this house whether she likes it or not. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi tells her that she will leave this house with Ruhi.
