Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 16th September 2023 episode starts with Abhimanyu calling Akshara to ask if Abheer reached home or not while Akshara thinks of calling Abhimanyu to ask when will he bring Abheer. 

Just then, they both get a call and rush to the hospital. 

Abheer Tells AbhiRa to Marry

At the hospital, they are outraged to hear that Abheer has lied to him to get them in one place. 

Abhimanyu tells Abheer to tell him what he wants to discuss and Abheer shows them their wedding photograph telling them that he wants to talk about it. 

He asks them why are they refusing to get married when they used to be happy before. 

He tells them that even Abhinav used to think that they should become a family while Akshara is shocked to hear Abheer who wants Akshara to be happy. 

As Abheer continues to point out the reason for them to be together, Akshara scolds him saying that she and Abhimanyu will never marry.

Ganpati Visarjan at Birla's House

On the other hand, Birlas is presuming that Goeanka's will not come that day because of the drama that took place yesterday. 

Just then, the Goenkas arrive there while Ruhi complains to them for being late. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi takes Akshara aside and tells her not to reject Abhimanyu because of her as she was never emotionally involved with him. 

However, Akshara takes offence and tells her that she should be the one to support her as they are in the same boat. 

Aarohi tells her that she understands her feelings perfectly and that is why she is advising her but Akshara tells her that if she also wants to talk like this then she will leave. 

After a while, Abheer hugs Lord Ganesha’s idol telling everyone that he will not let him go as he is his friend. 

Akshara explains to him that Lord Ganesha’s parents must be missing him but what he can do is tell his wish in his ear so that it will come true by the time He returns next year. 

Abheer Makes A Wish

Abheer gets excited to hear that and waits for the veneration to get over. 

Afterward, Abheer climbs into Lord Ganesha’s lap and tells him to bring Akshara and Abimanyu together as husband and wife.

Late at night, Abheer is doing something on a laptop in secret when Manish catches him and asks him to share his secret with him as he is his buddy. 

Later, Abheer tells Manish about his plan to set up a date for Akshara and Abhimanyu at Golden Park. 

On the other hand, Muskaan is about to tell Neelam Amma about Akshara and Abhimanyu when Kairav takes the phone from her and rebukes her for worrying Neelam Amma. 

Muskaan is not impressed and tells him that she is telling Neelam Amma because she wants her to know to not expect anything from them if she dies one day.  

The next morning, Mahima reminds Abhimanyu of the important meeting while Abhimanyu assures her that he will be there on time. 

Abhimanyu and Akshara Receive Gifts

After a while, Manjari and Abhimanyu are busy discussing marriage with Akshara when Shefali calls him in a hurry. 

On coming out, Abhimanyu is surprised to see so many gifts for him.

At the same time, Akshara is equally surprised to see the gifts and gets irritated to read the cheap poems that came with the gifts. 

Manish pretends to be outraged and tells Akshara that he will beat the person into a pulp if he gets his hands on him. 

On the other hand, Ruhi, Aarohi, and Shefali tease Abhimanyu for being someone’s crush at the hospital.

Abhimanyu is not pleased and reads the last message which has mentioned the time and venue for the meeting. 

Meanwhile, Akshara resolves to teach the person a lesson by sending her gifts as well as cheap poetry. 

Manish watches Akshara go and hopes that Abheer’s wish come true soon. 

At the park, Akshara and Abhimanyu arrive at the park blabbering about teaching a lesson to the secret admirer when they collide with each other. 

Just then, the police raid the lover's park and everyone around them begins to run.
