Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 17th February 2023 episode starts with Kairav telling Akshara to not come to Udaipur, hurting Akshara with his words. 

Manish and Swarna overhear Kairav and look at him angrily while Muskaan stops Kairav on the way.

Muskaan shames Kairav for being rude to Akshara and tells him that he has no right to hurt her family. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi and Abhimanyu are busy planning Suhasini’s birthday party when Abhimanyu decides to leave some extra space for some last-minute guests.

Elsewhere, Abhinav and Abheer are excitedly packing when Abhinav realizes Akshara’s quietness and asks her what is bothering her, and requests her to not cancel the trip. 

In the meantime, Manjari and Shefali come to Goenka's house for party arrangements and meets Muskaan. 

Manjari’s facial expression changes upon hearing Akshara’s name. 

Later, Manish tells Manjari that Akshara is coming home for Suhasini’s birthday. 

In the meantime, Ruhi calls Abhimanyu out to introduce him as her father to her friend’s family. 

Hearing Ruhi’s excitement about Abhimanyu becoming her father and her planning for a future adventure cuts Abhimanyu and Aarohi's hearts. 

Meanwhile, Akshara is telling Abhinav and Abheer about Udaipur and that, they will be called “Jamai Sa” and “Kuar Sa”. 

Just then, Neelam Amma comes to Akshara with gifts for her family and Muskaan. 

She also tells her that it will not be easy for her to come back as Udaipur will try to stop her at every turn and would want her to live there a little longer. 

Neelam Amma’s words make Akshara’s heart anxious and she tells her that no one can stop her from coming back. 

However, Neelam Amma tells her to not take the love of her daughter’s family lightly no matter how beautiful her ‘Sasuraal’ is, they always win. 

Later, Ruhi is talking to Abhimanyu and tells him to make the guest eat jam as food and they all will be happy. 

Abhimanyu’s memories get triggered and he tries to put a stop to them saying he had to move on for Ruhi’s sake. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav shares her fear and anxiousness with Neelam Amma about meeting Akshara’s family for the first time. 

Neelam Amma tells him to not worry as God will help them ease their paths. 

Elsewhere, Manjari and Shefali return home looking haggard while Shefali tries to put Manjari’s mind to rest but Manjari is not convinced that Akshara’s arrival will not disturb her family.

Ruhi tells Manjari that she has told all her friends that she is going to have a father. 

Abhimanyu observes worry on Manjari’s face and asks her what has happened to her. 

Aarohi also asks Manjari if Kairav and Manish have said something to her. 

Manjari tries to sidestep the issue but Abhimanyu tells her that he will call Manish. 

Manjari tells Abhimanyu and Aarohi that Akshara and her family are coming to Udaipur for Suhasini’s birthday, shocking Abhimanyu. 

Meanwhile, Akshara locks the house for her journey home with Neelam Amma’s blessings.

However, her heart feels anxious about leaving her home while Neelam Amma tells her to go and not look back.
