Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 17th May 2023 episode starts with Aarohi reliving Manjari’s warning about Abheer and continues to pack her bags.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu comes there asking her how can she did not tell him about Abheer. 

However, Aarohi also blames him for not telling him the truth without any reason. 

Abhimanyu tells her that Ruhi is his daughter and he has not forgotten her or his promise. 

After a while, Aarohi tells him to not tell anyone in the Goenka house that she has left the house. 

On being asked, Aarohi tells him that she is an independent woman who can raise her child in her own house. 

On the other hand, Akshara tells Muskaan to open the door but Muskaan feels too humiliated to face her.

Meanwhile, Kairav finds Muskaan’s gift in his room and feels guilty for missing it. 

Meanwhile, Neelam Amma scolds Abhinav for not knowing what is going on in Muskaan’s heart. 

Just then, Akshara comes there and tells them that Muskaan told her and asked her to not tell anyone. 

Abhinav complains to Akshara for keeping him in the dark as she is his sister. 

However, Akshara asks him that he is never home to listen to her as he comes home to eat and then leaves immediately after. 

Abhinav defends himself saying he is trying to earn money for his son while Akshara tells him that he is trying to compete with Abhimanyu. 

In the meantime, Aarohi is gathering strength to go to Ruhi and explain about leaving the house when Abhimanyu stops her and drags her away. 

Elsewhere, Akshara tells Abhinav that he does not need to prove himself to anyone as he is a very good father.

She tells him that if he does not want to lose Abheer, then he will have to slow down because money is not that important.

However, Abhinav tells her that for him it is because it is money that will keep his son with him. 

He also tells her that he wants to give her everything that Abhimanyu can give even if he has to work 24 hours a day. 

At Birla's house, Abhimanyu tells Manjari that Aarohi and Ruhi will not go anywhere and he cannot leave Ruhi for Abheer. 

The next day, Akshara is singing Aarti feeling tensed and worried and begins to cry midway. 

Seeing Akshara cry, Abheer begins to sing motivating Akshara. 

On the other hand, Manjari also finishes the Aarti and distributes the oblation. 

Elsewhere, Neelam Amma tells everyone that she and Muskaan will leave for Kasauli the next day. 

Akshara and Manish insist on her to stay but she tells them that she cannot face them anymore. 

Later, Manish tells Akshara to stop Neelam Amma at any cost.

After a while, Abhinav tells Neelam Amma to not offer him money for tickets or they will have a fight. 

Just then Abhinav rushes out getting his boss’s call while Abheer tells him to play with him for ten minutes before going. 

However, Abhinav ignores his request in a hurry and leaves.

On the other hand, Akshara and Abhimanyu’s lawyers advise them to attack the personal front to get Abheer’s custody or be prepared to lose him. 

Neither Abhimanyu nor Akshara wants to turn it into an ugly battle but they cannot let the other person win.
