Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 17th November 2023 episode starts with Armaan going to get the chit from Rohit so that he can call Ruhi. 

However, he is surprised to see Rohit fast asleep and smiles at him. 

He tries to search his pockets and bed to find the chit but fails and thinks of a way to search for her. 

In the meantime, Ruhi calls her friend to discuss Armaan not calling her yet while her friend suggests giving him time so he will call or else she will find him on social media. 

Ruhi adds that he does not know that she is Ruhi Birla. 

Elsewhere, Armaan cannot find Ruhi on social media when he tells Ruhi that she will have to wait a day more.

The next morning, Vidhya and grandmother pile many gifts and sweet boxes on him to be taken to Goenkas while Rohit looks shocked to see so many gifts for Diwali. 

Grandmother tells Vidhya to start preparing the house for Diwali and make it most beautiful. 

In the meantime, Yuvraj comes to Abhira in a drunken state while Abhira tells him to get lost or else she will kill him. 

Yuvraj tells Abhira that he has had enough of her antics but now she will see his anger. 

He drags her towards the door while Abhira struggles to stay away. 

Just then, Akshara comes there and frees Abhira from his grip, slapping Yuvraj when he tells her to let go of Abhira as he will take her with him today. 

Akshara tells him that he will have to cross her dead body to reach Abhira. 

Meanwhile, Yuvraj takes out his gun with shaking hands and shoots Akshara telling her as she wishes. 

Just then, Abhira wakes up from her dream and feels relieved to see Akshara alright. 

Elsewhere, Armaan tells his grandmother that Kiara wants to work as a dance instructor.

Grandmother sternly tells Armaan that the girls of their house do not work outside the house. 

Just then, Sanjay and Madhav come home when Sanjay happily tells Grandmother that they have won the case.

He tells Madhav to eat the sweets as he might have lost the case but the family has won it and nothing is more important than a case. 

Meanwhile, Armaan tells Sanjay that today they might have won the case but the truth has been lost as there is grave injustice done to the woman who lost her business.  

Grandmother chides Armaan for insinuating that they have done wrong to someone when they always stand to help the poor and needy.

Armaan tells her that their client has wrongfully taken over a poor woman's business by not explaining the technicalities of the loan. 

However, Grandmother tells him that it is the woman's responsibility to check all the details and the court agrees with her. 

Meanwhile, Armaan tells her that it is the court's decision but not justice as the woman has lost her livelihood and any chance of reestablishing her business.

Grandmother tells him that she knows this kind of woman too well who uses their sob stories to get her hands on the rich man's wealth. 

Armaan is shocked and asks her how can she say such a thing despite being a woman herself. 

However, Grandmother tells him that she is only saying it but his mother has done it.
