Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 18th October 2023 episode starts with Akshara bringing Abhimanyu to his room while he stops at the door eying the room. 

Akshara goes to him again and brings his suitcase inside while Abhimanyu tells her that he will stay at the hotel as he does not feel comfortable living with his in-laws. 

However, Akshara shames him for his orthodox thinking while Abhimanyu tells her that this cannot live here forever and they will have to find another solution. 

Akshara agrees with him and tells him that he should look for some properties. 

After a while, Abhimanyu is unpacking when he unconsciously calls Manjari for his charger and then feels awkward in front of Akshara. 

On the other hand, Mahima gets a call from Parth who wants to propose to her a deal that will benefit both of them.

Meanwhile, Shefali and Aarohi tell Aarohi to get some sleep or else she will get sick. 

As Aarohi decides to call Abhimanyu, Shefali tells her that both Manjari and Abhimanyu are being stubborn and not ready to relent. 

However, Manjari tells them that it is Abhimanyu who is being stubborn because she is only thinking about his happiness.

Just then, Akshara comes there and tells Manjari to end this war and accept her child for the sake of Abhimanyu.

However, Manjari tells her that no matter how much time it takes Abhimanyu will return to her and leave her and her baby alone. 

In the meantime, Parth arrives at the hospital where Abhimanyu meets him and questions him for daring to come there. 

However, Parth tells him that he has come to meet Manajri who has invited him there. 

Just then, Mahima comes there and takes Parth to her cabin.

Meanwhile, Manjari is gazing at her and Abhimanyu’s photo and recalls Akshara and Abhimanyu’s words. 

On the other hand, Swarna and Muskaan bring the court form to fill out while Akshara feels dreadful. 

Manjari keeps the new frame and the photo aside and looks at the broken glass. 

Later, Akshara gets a call from Shefali telling her about Manjari’s attempted suicide which shocks her and she runs to Birla's house. 

On hearing that no one has informed Abhimanyu, Akshara goes to the hospital.

Abhimanyu is browsing through the list of houses and looks surprised to see Akshara.

Before Akshara can say anything he makes her sit on the chair and tells him to look at the houses available and that he cannot live away from Manajri which is why he is looking at houses in Udaipur only. 

Abhimanyu continues to talk until Akshara loudly tells him that Manjari has attempted suicide. 

He feels disoriented and runs towards his home while Akshara prays to keep Manjari safe. 

Later, Surekha asks Manish and Akshara that Abhimanyu will not come back tonight while Akshara tells her that Abhimanyu cannot leave Manjari in this condition. 

However, Surekha tells Akshara that Manjari has taken a calculated risk by attempting suicide. 

Akshara is aghast to hear that while Surekha tells her to think it through as Abhimanyu is with Manjari and not her.
