Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 19th September 2023 episode starts with Shefali telling Abhimanyu that she can read his heart’s condition on his face and asking him why he is torturing himself. 

She tells him that it is wrong to keep his feelings to himself, asking him to confess to Akshara. 

However, Abhimanyu tells her that he does not want to trouble Akshara with his problems. 

Meanwhile, Shefali tells him that the most tragic thing is being scared so if he cannot confess his love then he should confess his fears to Akshara. 

She tells him that Akshara is more courageous than him as she has moved on in her life while he is still stuck with her memories because he is letting his fears control her. 

Abhimanyu tells her that he cannot risk losing Abheer and Akshara’s friendship.

Shefali tells him that Akshara knows him too well and will eventually find out his feelings. 

Abhimanyu tells him that Akshara does not love him anymore and he will deal with his feelings and until then he will not come to face Akshara. 

Meanwhile, Shefali asks him if he will be able to live without talking to her. 

The next morning, Abhimanyu gets a call from Akshara while he is teaching Ruhi. 

Abhimanyu Avoids Akshara

Abhimanyu avoids her call and tries to focus while Akshara calls Ruhi’s phone to talk to him. 

On hearing Abhimanyu’s voice she chides him for not picking up her calls and asks him to send the documents related to the investors meeting. 

Abhimanyu feels irritated at not being able to control himself and tells her that he has no documents and she should ask someone else for them. 

His attitude makes Akshara angry and she tells Manish that Abhimanyu is suffering from an ‘Abhimanyu Attack’ where he loses sense and shouts at others which he just did. 

Manish tells her that there must be some reason for him to react this way and she should find out about it as a friend. 

Akshara cools down and wonders what can be troubling him and decides to ask him.

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu overhears some junior doctors talking about him and Akshara and looks frustrated. 

Meanwhile, Akshara and Manjari witness the frustration while Manjari tells Akshara that Abhimanyu needs to settle down with someone as she cannot see him alone and struggle. 

She asks her to talk to Abhimanyu and convince him to get married as he might listen to her. 

Akshara looks conflicted but agrees to talk to Abhimnayu. 

Manish has faith in AbhiRa

Later, Manish is surprised to hear Manjari’s request to Akshara and gets angry at her for putting the responsibility for Abhimanyu’s happiness on Akshara.

Manjari tells him that they cannot force the decision to marry each other on them while Swarna and Surekha also side with Manjari. 

However, Manish tells him confidently that he has faith in God and that he will bring them together. 

Meanwhile, Akshara is waiting in the cafeteria for Abhimanyu and Abhimanyu tries to keep his distance from her so he does not have to talk to her. 

On the other hand, Manish asks Manjari if Abhimanyu can ever forget Akshara. 

Manjari tells him that he will not but Akshara has forgotten him and still loves Abhinav. 

She tells him that Akshara and Abhimanyu are better after separation and if they are forced to come back together their peace will be taken away from them. 

Akshara Confronts Abhimanyu

Elsewhere, Akshara finds Abhimanyu and he keeps giving her excuses to avoid her. 

However, Akshara finally catches him in his cabin and threatens to keep him captive until he shares with her what is bothering him. 

Abhimanyu thinks about Shefali’s words and tries to tell Akshara his feelings but lies to her instead. 

Akshara sees through his lie and asks him to tell her what is bothering him. 

However, Abhimanyu makes an excuse about getting late and runs away from the office. 

Meanwhile, Abheer finds Akshara's note about going to meet Abhimanyu and asks Abhinav why Abhimanyu and Akshara are stubborn about marriage. 

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu is scolding himself for almost telling Akshara his feelings when Akshara comes there and throws his jacket at his car telling him she cannot keep it.
