Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 1st July 2023 episode starts with Abhir asking Suhasini to teach him the "Jap" so that he can pray for Akshara and Abhinav.

Suhasini tells Abhir that Lord Shiva loves kids and will hear his request to make him stay with his parents forever, making Abhir smile.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu tries looking for dinner and Aarohi serves him stating that she would've done this for anyone leaving Abhimanyu awkward.

The next day, Abhimanyu treading downstairs receives a call from the hospital and gets stressed to hear about his appointments.

Kanika tells Abhimanyu to not worry as they will take over all his appointments and he should only focus on the case.

Elsewhere, Abhinav-Akshara gets ready to visit court and Abhir insists they have something before leaving for court.

Ruhi visits Abhir

Just then, Aarohi along with Ruhi visits Goenkas and Abhir gets excited to see her and embraces her wholeheartedly.

Akshara expresses her gratitude to Aarohi for coming over as her visit gave her a new wave of hope and strength.

Manish asks Ruhi and Abhir to return to their room to play and Aarohi goes to check them.

Abhir tells Ruhi-Chuhi that he wants to live with Akshara-Abhinav and not his real papa.

Ruhi tells Billa-boy to not overstress even in case his real father wins as she and Poppy will take him away from his real papa.

Aarohi gets tensed hearing their conversation and Kairav assures Aarohi of his support all throughout even if Abhimanyu wins the custody battle.

At the court, the judge states that both the parties have put forth all the arguments and the court will announce their decision tomorrow leaving everyone stressed.

The next morning, Akshara-Abhinav stands in front of Lord Krishna to pray and Swarna tells Akshara to call Suhasini as soon as the decision is announced since she is sitting doing the Jaap.

Just then, Abhir gets the aarti thali telling Akshara-Abhinav that everyone in the house does aarti before any examination and he will do the same for them as it is their result day.

Further, Abhir ties a pious thread over Akshara's wrist and offers them prasad to wish them good luck.

A house staff informs the family member about the lawyer's visit and Akshara walks forward unaware that the thread has been left untied.

The lawyer informs the duo that after all the hearings there are maximum probabilities that they will win custody.

Further, he states that the court will consider Abhir's upbringing of all these years over Abhimanyu's biological rights.

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu's lawyer asks him to get something solid to make his case stronger to win the custody battle.

Afterward, in the court's foyer, Abhimanyu helps Akshara in picking up the scattered papers and tells him that she will not hide his identity from Abhir and will tell him everything eventually.

Akshara tells Abhimanyu that he can visit Abhir and spend his time with him while Abhimanyu asks him how is she so sure that she is only going to win the battle.

She states that her dream of having a happy family will not shatter and Abhimanyu tells Akshara to not be overconfident till the time the court announces its decision no one should celebrate before it.

Abhimanyu apologizes seeing Akshara getting scared while she asks Abhimanyu to not apologize as they both are stuck in this weird situation.

Akshara states that she never knew that they will be one of those unlucky people who have to fight for the child they bought in this world with love.

Abhimanyu tells Akshara that Abhir's win is the most important and Akshara wishes him good luck while Abhimanyu reverts back.

Abhir visits court

Back at home, Abhir finds the untied pious thread in the hall and decides to tie it again on Akshara's wrist to make her win the case. 

Meanwhile, Abhir reaches the court to see Akshara and Akshara gets nervous feeling Abhir's presence around her.

As Abhir makes his way toward the custody department, Abhimanyu gets restless feeling Abhir around him, and sees a staircase falling and running to save him while Abhinav also rushes.

Abhimanyu pulls Abhir in his arms and Akshara-Abhinav stands in shock.
