Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 20th June 2023 episode starts with Ruhi and Abheer asking everyone’s attention while Akshara and Aarohi pull their legs.

They tell everyone that Kairav’s Sangeet’s preparation is on their shoulders and that is why they have prepared the dancing list for everyone and announce it one by one.

In the end, all the smiles freeze when Akshara and Abhimanyu’s names are paired together. 

Akshara and Abhimanyu tell them that they cannot do the dance which makes Abheer and Ruhi get angry and walks out from there. 

Abhinav thinks that maybe fate is signalling to him that this is right Jodi. 

In the meantime, Abhimanyu and Akshara come to Ruhi and Abheer and convince them to partner with them.

Manjari's Selfish Desires

Abhinav watches them with the kids with envy and is about to leave when Manjari comes there and tells them that seeing them together is the best feeling in the world. 

She suggests to Abhinav that no matter how much they try, fate has a way of bringing them back together. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav reminds her that she is talking to Akshara’s husband. 

However, Manjari tells him that she has no choice but to speak up because it is related to their sons. 

She asks Abhinav to look at the three of them and tell her it isn’t their’s perfect family.

She tells him that everyone can see the truth but no one is saying anything because no one wants to be on bad side of people but she will speak up because someone has to think about Akshara and Abhimanyu’s relationship. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav tells Manjari that Akshara is his wife so she must not mention such things in future. 

Manjari tells him that it was not her intention and she has only come for Abheer but seeing them together she has realised that all three of them belong together as Abheer needs both of his parents. 

She asks him if he does not think that Abhimanyu and Akshara should be given another chance. 

Aarohi Calls Manjari Selfish

Just then, Manjari realises that Aarohi has overheard her and goes to talk to her. 

However, Aarohi tells her that she does not want to talk about all this as she is Abhimanyu’s mother and has every right to think about him. 

She tells her that she also knows that she and Abhimanyu are not meant for each other and she was only marrying him because of Ruhi who will be deeply hurt if this marriage will not take place.

At the moment the person she is feeling bad for is Abhinav. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav immerses his head in the water tank to jolt his aching heart and is having a breakdown and trying to convince himself that he, Akshara and Abheer are family and rest is a lie. 

Aarohi tells Manjari that she is hurting Abhinav the most and that they were able to bear all the pain because they had their children with them but Abhinav only has Abheer and Akshara and she wants to take them away. 

Aarohi accuses Manjari of being selfish and breaking a perfectly happy family who is moving on with their life. 

She calls Manjari a stubborn and insensitive person who is adamant to get her wish and is not thinking who she hurts in the process. 

Abhinav Compliments Akshara

The next morning, Akshara brings tea for Abhinav while he asks her how did she know in advance that he needs a cup of tea badly. 

Just then, Abhinav sees Abhimanyu taking care of preparations and becomes sad thinking about Akshara and Abhimanyu together. 

In the meantime, Akshara tells him to not worry too much as she will take care of everything and will always be there to support him.

Afterwards, she asks Abhinav how she should get ready in the evening and gets angry when Abhinav gives her a diplomatic answer. 

Seeing Akshara angry, Abhinav stops her and pulls her back using her dupatta while Akshara tells him that she will not be convinced so easily. 

Abhinav tells her that he is no hero so he will tell this simply to forgive him and arranges the dupatta on her shoulder. 

He tells her to leave her hair out of bounds because he loves to admire her when she put her hair back every few minutes. 

Akshara smiles at him shyly while he continues saying that she should not wear makeup tonight as her beauty sparkles without any embellishments. 

Later, everyone is gathered together for the Sangeet ceremony where Abheer and Ruhi host the party and tell everyone to be prepared as per the sequence.
