Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 20th October 2023 episode starts with Akshara scolding Abheer for not standing straight while she combs and tells him that Ruhi sits so nicely. 

However, Abheer tells her that his hairstyle matters a lot so he will set it himself.

Meanwhile, Ruhi asks Aarohi if she had slept at Birla's house and then why she woke up at Goenka's house. 

Abhimanyu tells her that they are here for the veneration while Surekha distracts Ruhi by telling Abhimanyu and Akshara to get ready for the veneration. 

In the meantime, Abhimanyu asks Akshara how much longer will they keep the truth from Ruhi while Akshara tells him that they should respect Aarohi’s decision. 

Just as Akshara is leaving, she gets a call from Kasauli’s bank telling her that they will be seizing Abhinav’s home and cars because of the loan. 

Later, Akshara is on the phone trying to convince the bank not to take the home and cars as they have been keeping up most of the payment but they tell her that many instalments are pending and they will have to take action. 

Just then, Akshara sees Manjari in the mirror and gets up while Manjari looks at her curiously. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi is making the Swastik for the veneration when Ruhi collides with her and the design gets scraped. 

Surekha feels anxious saying that it is inauspicious while Manish tells her to not worry as it happened because of children and means nothing. 

In the meantime, Manjari tells Akshara that she is ready to give her money while Akshara asks her to tell what the catch is behind this generosity. 

On hearing that she wants Abhimanyu in return, Akshara tells her that she has not stopped Abhimanyu from going to her and she should not belittle her son by putting a price tag on him. 

She leaves the room feeling disgusted while Manjari comes after her, saying that she is ready to give her everything but she should return Abhimanyu. 

Akshara folds her hand and requests her to accept this wedding and make their family complete instead of selling her son. 

She walks towards the hall with Manjari at her heels when she somehow slips just before Manjari grabs her hand and falls flat on the floor.

Abhimanyu comes running to Akshara who has fallen unconscious. 

As Manjari tries to come close to Akshara, Abhimanyu sternly tells her to stay away which shocks her and she tells him that she has not pushed Akshara. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi tells Abhimanyu that they will have to take Akshara to the hospital and Abhimanyu wastes no time and picks her up to leave. 

Manish stops Manjari from going after Akshara and tells her to stay away from his daughters whom she has been hurting one way or another. 

He also tells her that from this moment forward he is breaking all ties with her.

At the hospital, Mahima comes to Abhimanyu expressing surprise and worry about the situation. 

Just then, Peon comes to call Mahima for the conference and she tells him not to worry as she will handle it.

Later, the doctor tells Abhimanyu that Akshara’s baby’s heartbeats are very weak and they are trying their best. 

Abhimanyu gets angry and comes to Birla's house where Manjari is talking about organizing a charity lunch for Akshara and her child.

He tells her that she has done a despicable thing today and that if anything happens to Akshara and her baby then he will not be able to forgive himself. 

He also tells her that she has made him feel small by putting a price tag on him and asks her how can she stoop so low.
