Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 21st June 2023 episode starts with Ruhi telling everyone that the person who was supposed to be Surekha’s partner has not come so someone has to partner with her. 

Surekha is grateful for the absence of her partner while Manish offers to be her dancing partner.

However, Kairav objects to it saying Manish is from the bridegroom’s party while Muskaaan tells him that Manish has called her his daughter so he can be from the bride’s side too. 

Later, the performance begins and Mimi and Neelam Amma dance to the tunes of “Morni Banke”. 

Afterwards, Manjari and Swarna present an amazing dance to the song “Morni Banke”.

The next performance is by Surekha and Manish which has a touch of spice in their dance which everyone enjoys thoroughly. 

After that Abhinav and Kairav come on the stage while Abhinav’s spirits are already weighed down by the fear of losing Akshara and Abheer. 

During the performance, Muskaan distracts Kairav by winking at him which falters Kairav’s step while Abhinav wins the performance. 

After that Muskaan and Aarohi come on stage dancing gracefully on the tunes of “Kesariya Tera".

Meanwhile, Manjari is still conflicted about having Abhimanyu and Akshara back while not wanting to lose Aarohi and Ruhi. 

After that Abhimanyu, Ruhi, Abheer and Akshara come on the stage for a face-off dance on the tunes of “Dam Dam Mast Hai”. 

Abhinav’s fear increases many folds seeing the wonderful dance chemistry between Abhimanyu and Akshara. 

After the performance, Abhimanyu pulls Kairav and Muskaan onto the stage to dance together while others also join them in a couple dance. 

Akshara signals Abhinav to dance with her but Abhinav is overwhelmed by his feelings and excuses himself. 

Akshara gets worried thinking if something else, besides the wedding, is bothering Abhinav. 

Later, Akshara bends down on her knees to invite Abhinav to dance with her while Abhinav watches Akshara’s hand wondering if he deserves to hold her hand or not. 

Despite the conflict, Abhinav finally takes Akshara’s hand recalling his promise to be always by her side. 

As Abhinav hugs her in agony, Akshara gets worried and asks him what else is bothering him. 

Abhinav tries to avoid the confrontation but Akshara persists making him confess that he is not as good a dancer as Abhimanyu. 

Akshara stops Abhinav from leaving and tells him that no one will leave from there until he tells her what is he hiding. 

She tells him to not dare to lie because she will know that while Abhinav tells her that he is scared. 

Akshara looks puzzled while Abhinav hugs her and tells her that he is afraid of the unknown. 

Looking at her with teary eyes, Abhinav tells her that middle-class people like him panic at the mere thought of losing everything. 

Akshara misunderstands Abhinav’s misery thinking he is afraid of Muskaan’s leaving them alone and tells him that Muskaan is not going anywhere new but to her house and they are here for Neelam Amma so there is nothing to worry about. 

Before Abhinav can clarify, Abheer comes to take Abhinav and Akshara to watch Manish and Swarna’s dance performance.
