Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 21st March 2023 episode starts with Abhimanyu telling Parth that he made mistakes in the past and has never cowered from admitting it and Parth should do the same. 

Abhimanyu Takes A Stand

However, Parth tells him that he should not talk about woman’s respect when he never respected Akshara. 

Manjari tells Parth that he should not have raised his hand at Shefali while Mahima tells her that Shefali is denying being beaten.

However, Manjari tells her that she had been in the same situation and very well knows when a woman lies in these matters. 

Mahima tells Abhimanyu to be very careful about his accusations as they may ruin Parth’s reputation and career. 

However, Abhimanyu tells her that he has seen with his own eyes that Parth raised his hand on Shefali. 

Mahima refuses to hear anymore and is about to walk out when Abhimanyu shames everyone for abusing the daughter-in-law of the house. 

He tells her that it is the family’s responsibility to listen to the unsaid feelings of their daughters and daughter-in-laws.

He states that this family has always been unjust to the daughters-in-law of the family, be it Mahima, Manjari, Shefali or Akshara.

Abheer Finds About Abhinav

Akshara is making a call while Neelam Amma curses those people who have caused trouble for Abhinav.

In the meantime, Abheer overhears Neelam Amma and gets worried. 

Akshara tells him to not worry and as she will get Abhinav back. 

As Akshara goes to attend a call, Abheer prays for Abhinav’s safe return and sits on the sofa, feeling sick. 

Abhimanyu Accepts Akshara to be a Victim of Domestic Abuse

Abhimanyu accepts his mistake in divorcing Akshara when she was down and tells Manjari that they were in the wrong and betrayed her and did not respect her. 

He tells everyone that he will never repeat this mistake again and will stand by every daughter-in-law of the house and never allow them to suffer in silence. 

Later, Kairav overhears Muskaan crying on phone and stops hearing Akshara’s name. 

On being asked, Muskaan tells Kairav that Abhinav has been taken into custody due to a tourist bag that contained drugs. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu assures Shefali that he is with her and she will find him waiting for her to talk whenever she is ready. 

He also tells her to think carefully about what she wants to teach Shivansh to be a victim or a abuser or she wants him to stand up and fight against abuse. 

Akshara Teaches Law to Police Inspector

On the other hand, Akshara gives the detail of the tourist to the police inspector and tells him to release Abhinav.

On being the target of the Inspector’s sarcasm, Akshara tells the inspector about the police investigation that will help him find the truth. 

The inspector gets angry at being taken to task and tells Akshara that this investigation will be conducted the next day as it is already 7 PM. 

However, Akshara threatens to go to the SP if he refuses to do the duty. 

Seeing the inspector misbehave with Akshara, Abhinav gets angry and scolds him for which he gets pushed by a constable. 

Akshara tells the inspector that she can use the CCTV camera of the police station to put him in jail for seven years under sections 330A and 330B, custodial torture. 

Akshara also tells him not to underestimate the power of an Indian wife who in this country is capable of bringing her husband back from Yamraj. 

Manjari Teaches Shefali a Valuable Life Lesson

Aarohi tells Abhimanyu that if Shefali does not want to help herself, then no one can. 

However, Abhimanyu tells her that it is very difficult for a wife to take a stand against her husband and their support might give her strength to fight. 

Meanwhile, Mahima comes to Shefali to not fall into the trap of Abhimanyu’s support and assures her that she will talk to Parth about this matter. 

Manjari comes to Shefali and tells her only she can decide between right and wrong, and if something has happened to her, then she will have to fight against it because she is the one who needs to respect herself first and only then, others will respect her. 

Elsewhere, the inspector gets intimidated and tells Akshara that he will release Abhinav on bail right away. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav feels confused at Akshara’s care and concern for him.

After a while, Manjari thinks about Abhimanyu’s argument about Akshara and whether they really were wrong in her matter. 

At the police station, the investigating officer also arrives and releases Abhinav, telling Akshara to take him back. 

However, Akshara tells the officer to tell his constable to apologise to Abhinav for pushing him. 

Shefali Takes A Stand

On the other hand, Shefali comes to Abhimanyu, telling him that she is ready to talk and make a new beginning. 

Abhimanyu collects everyone in the hall while Shefali looks Parth into his eyes. 

Later, the constable apologises to Abhinav and releases him while Akshara feels grateful to God. 

Abhinav basks in the moment of Akshara’s victory and follows her feeling happy at being the center of her attention.
