Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 21st October 2023 episode starts with Abhimanyu standing on one leg praying for Akshara while the doctor works diligently to save Akshara and the baby.

Muskaan also prays to God to keep the baby safe while Abhimanyu prays to God to keep the baby safe or Akshara will never be able to come out of this loss. 

Just then, Akshara wakes up and panics to hear that the baby’s heartbeat is very weak. 

Memories of past pregnancy begin to flash in front of her eyes and she feels sick from the inside. 

At the same time, Abhimanyu bargains with God saying if someone has to die then take his life but save Akshara’s child. 

Soon the doctor declares Akshara out of the woods which makes the Goenkas sigh with relief. 

Manish comes to Akshara to tell her that her prayers are answered while Aarohi tells her that she knows her baby is stronger than the mother. 

Akshara asks for Abhimanyu and calls him after hearing that he has been AWOL. 

Pandit Ji picks up the call and shows Abhimanyu praying on one leg. 

Goenka's are surprised to see Abhimanyu while Akshara calls his name to attract his attention and tells him that the baby is fine. 

Later, Manish and Aarohi bring Akshara home who is surprised to see the house nearly empty while Surekha tells her that Swarna and Suhasini have gone to temple with Kairav. 

Just then, Abhimanyu comes running and hugs Akshara tightly. 

After a while, Akshara tells everyone that Manjari has not pushed her while Manish and Abhimanyu tell Akshara not to cover for Manjari and tells her to go and rest. 

On the other hand, Abheer and Ruhi wait for Abhimanyu when Manjari comes there to meet them. 

On being asked if she has come to pick them up, Manjari becomes sad and tells them that she has come to meet them only.

In the meantime, Abhimanyu comes there and looks surprised to see Manjari with the kids. 

Asking the children to sit in the car, Abhimanyu is about to leave when Manjari comes to him and apologises for asking Akshara to do such a vile thing. 

She also tells him that she has realised her mistake and is ready to accept Akshara and her child which makes Abhimanyu happy. 

However, Abhimanyu realises that he is daydreaming and Manjari will never accept Akshara or her baby. 

Later, Akshara tucks the children to bed wondering why has Abhimanyu not returned. 

Just then, Aarohi comes there and tells Akshara that Mahima has once again given into Parth’s manipulation and has agreed to build a VIP hospital using charitable funds. 

Knowing the stress Abhimanyu must be going through because of Mahima’s decision, Akshara sends him a tiffin.

She also calls him to remind him that they have promised to share one meal a day so that he gets his mind off the problem. 

The next morning, Akshara arrives at the hospital for the checkup and decides to meet Abhimanyu first. 

However, Abhimanyu is with Mahima and Parth and Mahima gives him the ultimatum to agree to the VIP hospital or else resign from his post. 

Abhimanyu once again tries to tell Mahima that the charity funds are for the poor who are able to afford the best facilities because of them, 

However, Mahima tells him that it is the reason why they are not making profits to its full potential. 

She also tells him that once they have money rolling from VIP Hospital then they can invest that in charity. 

Abhimanyu refuses to be a part of their project and leaves the hospital but decides to keep the news from Akshara or else she will feel more stressed.
