Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 22nd September 2023 episode starts with Akshara thinking about Abheer’s words when Aarohi comes to her asking what is troubling her. 

Akshara asks her if she is being selfish for not giving Abheer a happy family. 

However, Aarohi tells her that mothers always think that their best is not good enough but they are allowed to think about themselves. 

She tells her to think ten years forward and what she wants her life to be. 

Akshara tells her that she does not want to marry but she cannot see ABheer's heart break every day. 

Thinking about Abhimanyu’s confession, Akshara changes the subject and tries to leave but Aarohi stops her saying she wants to help her so she should tell her that what has Abhimanyu done. 

Meanwhile, Akshara tells Aarohi that Abhimanyu still loves her. 

Just then Manish's phone rings behind them and they look shocked to see him. 

On the other hand, Abhimanyu tells Manjari that he has to go to Delhi for a conference. 

Meanwhile, Manjari asks him if something has happened between him and Akshara because he never misses Abheer’s match before.

Abhimanyu tells her to not become a detective and just send his bag as he has a lot of work to do.

On the other hand, Akshara tells Manish that Abhimanyu’s feelings are one-sided so he should not have any expectations. 

Meanwhile, Manish tells them that he has seen them grow up and struggle with life’s several challenges from time to time. 

He tells Akshara that once before she married Abhinav to complete Abheer’s family while Akshara tells him that Abhinav was Abheer’s father before she can be his mother.

However, Manish tells her that she is being given another chance at love and life so she should not turn her back on prospective happiness.

Akshara tells her to not confuse her anymore while AArohi tells her to not run away from Abhimanyu but to talk to him and they might have a solution together. 

At the hospital, an angry parent questions the staff about putting his son in a coma when he has a small injury. 

Seeing Mahima, he also tries to attack her, holding her responsible for his son’s condition. 

However, Parth and Anand intervene and call security to take the man outside. 

Afterwards, Mahima tells Anand that she does not understand that just by increasing the oxygen level this happened to the patient. 

Meanwhile, Parth gets worried thinking that new oxygen cylinders are responsible for it. 

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu is all packed to leave thinking that he is running away from his problems. 

In the meantime, Akshara arrives at the hospital thinking that she has to talk to Abhimanyu instead of running away from the problem. 

At the same time, Abhimanyu thinks that he is only giving Akshara time to compose herself so they can go back to being good parents to Abheer. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu and Akshara miss each other and Abhimanyu leaves the hospital.

Later, Manish tells Abheer that Akshara has gone to meet Abhimanyu and very soon his family will be complete. 

Abheer tells him that he should take him to the hospital so that he can get his family picture clicked.

Meanwhile, Swarna tells Manish that he should not fill Abheer’s head with ideas as he will get hurt later, 

However, Manish is confident that Akshara will say yes to Abhimayu’s proposal. 

At the hospital, Abhimanyu hears Akshara’s melodious voice as she sings a song for a patient and assumes that to be his imagination. 

Meanwhile, Abheer and Manish arrive at the hospital where Akshara catches them and asks them what they are doing there. 

Just then, the patient’s father recognises Abheer to be Abhimanyu’s son and decides to use him to get to Abhimanyu.
