Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 23rd September 2023 episode starts with Prashant (patient’s father) firing a gun in the air and capturing Abheer while calling Abhimanyu to come to him. 

Akshara requests him to leave Abheer, while Manish tells him that they will resolve whatever his problem is but he should leave Abheer. 

Just then, others also come there and Mahima requests to leave Abheer. 

However, Prashant tells them to call Abhimnayu or he will lose his son. 

Aarohi begins to call Abhimanyu telling Prashant that Abhimanyu is not in the hospital. 

At the same time, Akshara sees the sanitiser on the nearby trolley and uses it on Prashant eyes to temporarily blind him.

Everyone runs in a different direction with Manish dragging Akshara with him while Aarohi takes Abheer with him. 

Prashant locks the door to the hospital, telling everyone that they all are his hostage. 

Meanwhile, Akshara once again goes out worrying for Abheer while Abheer gets left behind when everyone runs for their life. 

Later, Abheer wanders in the corridor alone when Prashant sees him. 

On the other hand, A sage comes to Abhimanyu asking for money and when Abhimanyu gives him the money and tells him to go back as his world is in trouble. 

On the other hand, Prashant grabs Abheer once again but Akshara comes from behind and hits him with a tray and Prashant captures her hand while Akshara tells Abheer to run. 

Afterwards, Akshara once again hits Prashant and runs away looking for Abheer. 

In the meantime, Anand, Manish, Dr Rohan, Aarohi and Mahima are worried about the situation and divide work to secure the patients, tell Rohan to monitor the CCTV room and stay connected on the phone while Aarohi calls the police. 

Meanwhile, Prashant searches for Abheer telling him to come out while Abheer hides from him. 

Rohan monitors the CCTV footage and tells everyone about Prashant and Abheer’s location. 

Meanwhile, Prashant looks everywhere for Abheer. 

On the other hand, Manjari and the Goenkas arrive at the hospital after hearing about Prashant hijacking the hospital and threatening Abheer. 

Manjari requests the police to let her go inside as her whole family is on the other side.

However, the police tell her that no one can go inside and they will have to stay behind to not hinder police work.

After a while, Prashant once again captures Abheer but Mahima comes there and snatches him away, telling him to run but Prashant puts her at a gunpoint. 

Just then, Akshara runs a stretch at Prashant saving Mahima and tells her to go and open the back door for the police. 

Meanwhile, Rohan continues to call Abhimanyu and sends him a message to return to the hospital. 

After a while, Abhimanyu's phone network returns and he is surprised to see so many missed calls and messages. 

He becomes shocked to read Rohan’s message and runs towards the hospital.

Later, Akshara sees Abheer hiding behind a bench and is about to reach him when Prashant comes from another side and grabs Abheer again. 

Akshara begs him to leave Abheer alone but he tells her that he will leave him once he is dead. 

As he takes Abheer away Akshara once again comes from behind and pushes Prashant with all her might.
