Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 26th February 2023 episode starts with Akshara and Aarohi trying to make peace between Abheer and Ruhi and tell them to shake hands. 

However, Abheer and Ruhi do not look too pleased to meet each other.

Just then, Abhimanyu and Abhinav come inside together and both kids acknowledge their presence with a shout. 

Abheer runs to Abhimanyu seeing him with Abhinav while Parth and Mahima express their surprise at Akshara’s choice of a second husband. 

Abhimanyu hugs Abheer while others look at them in shock. 

On being asked by Abheer if he is related to him somehow, Abhimanyu and Abhinav feel awkward while Ruhi also runs to Abhimanyu, asking him if he knows Abheer from before. 

Just then, Abhinav observes Manjari in the group and runs to thank her again.

After a while, Abhinav explains to Manish about Manjari’s role in helping him find Abheer. 

Afterwards, Akshara introduces Abhinav to everyone and bears their critical evaluation. 

Later, Suhasini complains about being ignored on her birthday while Abheer and Ruhi apologise to her, promising their attention to her. 

Akshara and Abhimanyu escape the crowd to have a deep breath. 

Later, Manish, Swarna, Suhasini and Kairav assemble to thank God for things going fine at the first meeting. 

Kairav, however, tells them that things are not fine but awkward for everyone. 

Suhasini tells him that both the parties had to meet someday and that too due to her, whether it is her birthday or death day. 

Swarna also tells Kairav to not waste time in contemplation and make this party memorable for Suhasini. 

In the meantime, Manjari is keeping tabs on Abhimanyu and feels thwarted seeing Abhimanyu and Akshara together. 

Shefali comes to Manjari seeing her lost in thoughts and worried while Manjari tells her that she wants Abhimanyu to move on in his life like Akshara. 

She also tells her that it is time that Abhimanyu and Aarohi’s engagement becomes public. 

Later, Shefali comes to meet Akshara while she stands alone in the corner and they both hug each other with affection. 

Akshara is shocked to hear that Shivu is in the hostel at such a young age and questions the family’s approval in the matter. 

Shefali wants to confide in Akshara but changes her mind at the last minute.

Later, Kairav takes the stage and announces the occasion of their party.

Suhasini tells Kairav to not forget mentioning her age of sweet sixteen. 

Kairav tells everyone that today, Suhasini will select the dancers using the laser torch. 

Later, the rays of light fall on Akshara and Abhimanyu.
