Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 26 Jan episode starts with Akshara stopping Abhimanyu from walking away from the temple.

She runs straight into Abhimanyu’s arms and hugs him tightly confessing “I love you” to him.

The family members come behind them and get shocked to see them hugging each other while confessing their love.

Neil starts dancing in happiness seeing Abhimanyu and Akshara.

Both Abhimanyu and Akshara hold their hands together and step towards the family members to explain the situation.

Akshara comes to Manish and asks for forgiveness for hiding the truth till now, she tells him to forgive her for her mistake.

But Manish reverts in anger and heartbreak saying that both Akshara and Arohi have made him realize his spot as their parent.

He emphasizes how both of them have hidden things from him and made a joke out of his reputation.

Akshara tries to convince Manish but Manish straightaway denies her to call him “bade papa” anymore.

Harshvardhan comments on the situation harshly which leads to an argument between him and Manish.

Afterward, Manish asks Akshara why she had hidden the truth till now, Abhimanyu jumps in and tells it was her upbringing and teaching that made her choose her sister over her love.

On Harshvardhan intervening, Abhimanyu makes it clear that he had never loved Arohi, rather he had told Arohi that he loves Akshara.

Hearing this, Arohi comes to Abhimanyu and announces that she is rejecting him herself as he has hurt her ego.

Arohi throws away her ornaments and runs away from there after telling Akshara that she is dead for her from now on.

Akshara runs after Arohi who on her way slips down the stairs but Akshara somehow manages to catch her before she can hit the ground, taking the hit herself.

Arohi runs away from there in anger, Akshara suddenly faints in Abhimanyu’s arms and he proceeds to carry her to her house.
