Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 26th May 2023 episode starts with Akshara lighting the lamp at the home temple when Abhinav comes there and smiles to see her unravelling her towel. 

Abheer comes home and scares her while Akshara tells Abhinav and Abheer that she has a surprise for them. 

She unveils the blackboard to show them the name of their house and new homestay business. 

Abhinav and Abheer look blank to hear the new concept while Akshara explains to them that this is a new form of hotel stay where tourist comes to live with locals to experience their culture and tradition first-hand. 

Both Abhinav and Abheer praise Akshara’s idea while Akshara shows them the ad that she has posted. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav tells Akshara that this business should not affect her studies.

However, Abheer offers to help Akshara telling him that he understands that his medicines are quite expensive. 

Akshara and Abhinav tell him to not worry about these things yet as he will have his own load of responsibilities when he will grow up so he should only focus on studying and playing with his friends for now. 

On the other hand, Kairav asks Manish if he had a talk with Akshara and wonders how has Abhimanyu reacted to Akshara’s going back home. 

Manish tells Kairav to have faith in Abhimanyu as he is a very sensible person while Kairav has no faith in Abhimanyu. 

At Kasauli, Akshara and Abhinav are eagerly waiting for their first booking and become elated on their first booking. 

Akshara and Abhinav set the room to welcome the guest while Abhinav tells her that foreign tourists love their traditional food and culture. 

After a while, Akshara brings out their traditional Himachal dress and tells Abhinav and Abheer to wear it as their guest will be impressed by them. 

As Akshara goes to get flowers to welcome the guest, a taxi stops at their doorway and soon Abhimanyu comes inside. 

Akshara showers upon him the rose petals thinking him to be a guest but looks shocked to see him. 

On being asked what he is doing here, Abhimanyu tells her that he has been missing Abheer and they have a heart connection. 

Meanwhile, Neelam Amma extracts Abheer from the house to get some pastries for Abhimanyu.

As soon as Abheer leaves, Abhimanyu thunders upon Akshara for daring to bring his son back to Kasauli. 

On the other hand, Muskaan is worrying about Abhimanyu reaching Kasauli when Kairav calls her about the wallet.

On hearing that he is going to call Akshara, Muskaan tells him that Abhimanyu has reached Kasauli. 

Akshara tries to explain to Abhimanyu but Abhimanyu cuts her off and tells her that she is mistaken to think that he will not react to her taking his son away from him. 

He questions them for not waiting two days for his return and what was the emergency that he needed to come back immediately. 

On being told that Abheer wanted to come back, Abhimanyu asks her if she could not ask Abheer to wait or did she see it as an excuse to steal his son from him. 

Akshara takes offence at being called the thief and reminds Abhimanyu that Abheer is her son as well. 

Both Abhimanyu and Akshara get into a heated argument and Abhimanyu tells her that he is taking Abheer back to Udaipur. 

Akshara challenges Abhimanyu of taking Abheer out of the door let alone out of Kasauli. 

Seeing them fight like children, Abhinav tells them to stop.
