Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 26th October 2023 episode starts with Manjari asking Akshara to promise her that she will start loving Abhimanyu before the birth of her child.  

Manish tells her that she cannot ask anyone this as it is not like opening a bank account. 

However, Manjari tells him that she is only asking Akshara to open her heart for Abhimanyu who already loves her dearly and deserves to be loved in return.

She asks Akshara why should Abhimanyu be the only one making sacrifices and what will she give him in return.  

Shefali tells Manjari that she wants Abhimanyu’s happiness and his happiness lies in being with Akshara and the baby as he will not be happy without them nor will he marry anyone else.

Manjari tells Shefali that Abhimanyu will learn to let go of Akshara if he doesn’t get married to her, thinking maybe she is not meant for him but if he marries Akshara then every day his hope of being loved by her will die. 

She tells her to give her a promise that she will love her son as only then, she will accept this marriage.

Meanwhile, Akshara tells her that she cannot put conditions on her feelings for Abhimanyu. 

She adds that Manjari does not realise that the person she is hurting the most is Abhimanyu who will be shattered to find out that his mother whom he loved the most in the world has backstabbed him. 

Akshara tells Manjari that she will not want Abhimanyu to come back to this prison where decisions are forced on him but she and her family will keep Abhimanyu happy and will let him make his decisions. 

On the other hand, Muskaan and Kairav bring food for Abhimanyu, requesting to be given to him when Abhimanyu tells them that they should not have gone to the trouble of it.

Just then, the police inspector comes there and tells them that Parth has taken his complaint back so Abhimanyu can go home. 

Later, Abhimanyu comes out and tells Kairav and Muskaan to go home while he goes to get some answers from Parth. 

Meanwhile, Parth tells Manjari that he has taken his complaint back and now is the time to keep her promise. 

Manjari tells him that he should assure her that he will not tell Abhimanyu that she was the one behind the complaint.

Just then, Abhimanyu turns Parth to himself, asking him how low will he stoop in his greed. 

Meanwhile, Manjari is still on the phone listening to the conversation.

On the other hand, Akshara is telling her family not to tell ABhimanyu about Manjari’s hand in all this as she does not want Abhimanyu to get hurt. 

Meanwhile, Parth almost tells Abhimanyu in anger that he has not done this to him but stops himself. 

Anand comes there, scolding them for fighting in the hospital while Parth tells Abhimanyu that he has complained against him but has taken it back for old-time sake.

Later, Mahima rebukes Manjari for doing such a despicable thing and that because of her stubbornness, all their children have left home. 

On the other hand, Abhimanyu arrives home to find Akshara waiting for her and recalls how he could not marry her today. 

Akshara hugs him to offer comfort and takes him inside where everyone is waiting for him. 

Elsewhere, Manjari brings Parth home as per his demand to do her dirty work.
