Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 27th April 2023 episode starts with Akshara coming home to find Abhinav repairing something and giving him his favourite sweets. 

Just then, Manish and others come there and tell Akshara that they have something to talk to her about. 

Abheer also wants to listen to their conversation but Akshara and others tell him to go to his room as it is adults matter. 

After Abheer leaves, Manish’s behaviour transforms and he looks relieved at Abheer walking away so they can talk freely about his surprise birthday party. 

Akshara and Abhinav look puzzled at their behaviour while Manish and Suhasini tell them that this will be Abheer’s first birthday in Udaipur and they want to make it memorable for him. 

On the other hand, Abheer is complaining to Ruhi about everyone forgetting his birthday and tells her that his heart with a hole has broken into thousand pieces because of his family forgetting his birthday. 

However, Ruhi assures him that she will patch his heart with tape and will not let his birthday go to waste. 

On the other hand, Goenka’s are busy making preparations for the party when Kairav observes Muskan struggling with glued hands and comes to her help. 

He asks her how her boyfriend bears to tolerate her childish behaviours while Muskaan tells him that she has no boyfriend. 

Meanwhile, Surekha observes Kairav and Muskaan engrossed in each other and decides to keep it to herself for now. 

In the meantime, Ruhi calls Akshara to complain to him about forgetting Abheer’s birthday while Akshara tells her that they are planning a surprise party for Abheer and she will also have to attend it.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu overhears Ruhi's conversation and feels sad for never knowing about Abheer’s birthday.

Talking to God, he resolves to celebrate his son’s birthday for the first time in his life. 

On the other hand, Abhinav and Akshara recall the night of Abheer’s birth and the storm that was raging that night. 

Akshara tells him that the storm has always been a part of Abheer's birthday and they are used to it but she is worried about some new storm that might brew tomorrow. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu thanks God for giving him the opportunity to be a part of his son’s birthday. 

Later, Abhinav and Akshara reminisce about Abheer’s past birthday and the fun they had while Akshara wishes to celebrate Abheer’s birthday in Kasauli.

However, Abhinav tells her they will celebrate it at home next year. 

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu also packs gifts for Abheer and adds a card with Papa labeled on it. 

The next morning, Ruhi shows the birthday card to Aarohi that she has made for Abheer and plans to buy gifts for Abheer and then go to his party. 

However, Aarohi tells her that she cannot go as she has a lot of work at the hospital. 

Everyone else also gives their excuse for not being able to attend the party. 

Ruhi feels sad and tells Manjari that it is wrong to hurt a child on his birthday which Abheer will feel if she will not go there. 

Meanwhile, Abheer wakes up excited at being wished for by everyone but feels disappointed to see everyone busy in their day-to-day routine. 

Abheer complains to God about his parent's neglect and tells him that he will not take any medicine today. 

Manish and others feel guilty for not wishing Abheer while Abhinav and Akshara assure them that Abheer is no better than a drama queen. 

As Abheer comes to his room feeling sad, he finds something there that makes him astonished. 

Later, Ruhi calls Aarohi to show her that she is at Goenka's house with Manjari while others insist on her coming too. 

Later, Surekha comes to instigate Manjari telling her that Abhimanyu giving importance to Akshara’s son over Aarohi does not look good and that Aarohi should not become a victim in all this debacle. 

Manjari who is already unhappy about coming there becomes more upset and tells Ruhi that they will be leaving right after the cake-cutting.
