Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 28th April 2023 episode starts with Kairav and Abheer appreciating the decoration while Akshara tells them that Ruhi has gone to call her. 

Meanwhile, Manjari also shares Ruhi’s excitement about Abheer’s party when Ruhi comes running to them telling everyone that Abheer is not in his room. 

On the other hand, Abheer is at a park and becomes happy to see Abhimanyu. 

Together they dance to the tune of “Chal Beta Selfie Le Le Re”.

Abhimanyu has created a whole Disneyland for Abheer and wishes him a happy birthday. 

Meanwhile, Akshara feels guilty about keeping everything a surprise from Abheer because of which he has gone somewhere while Manish tells her to calm down as Abhinav will find him soon. 

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu presents Abheer with six gifts, telling him that five others are for those that he missed. 

Meanwhile, Akshara feels that Abhimanyu might know about Abheer and calls him but his calls goes unattended.

At the park, Abhimanyu watches Abheer playing with cartoon characters when Abhinav arrives there and asks him how dare he bring Abheer without their permission. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu tells him that he has only taken away his son for six minutes and they became so worried.

He asks Abhinav they feel any remorse for keeping his son away from him for six years or not.

Abhinav tells Abhimanyu that no one is taking away his rights as a father while Abhimanyu tells him that it was wrong to think of him as a good man but in reality, he is not. 

Feeling sad, Abhinav tells Abhimanyu about his first meeting with Akshara and how she was scared and alone but he still looked after her and took her to the hospital only because he is a cheap man. 

He also tells him about the suffering he and Akshara went through together during and after Abheer’s birth but he is definitely a cheap man to stand by Akshara.

Recalling the time of Abheer’s birth, Abhinav tells Abhimanyu that it was his cheap-mindedness that forced him to look after Abheer when Akshara could not.

He also says that later he gave him his name at Akshara’s behest. 

Not only that, Abhinav tells him that he is definitely a cheap man for listening to Akshara when she decided to keep Abheer’s truth from him in Kasauli. 

He also tells him that he convinced Akshara to bring Abheer to Udaipur for his treatment when she didn't want Abheer to be anywhere around Abhimanyu. 

In the end, Abhinav tells him to be brutal and say whatever he wants and if he wishes then beat him too but before doing, he asks Abhimanyu what would he have done if he was in his place. 

Later, Abhinav takes Abheer with him back home while Akshara comes to Abhimanyu and tells him that he is incapable of thinking for anyone but himself. 

She tells him that if he wants to celebrate Abheer’s birthday or spend time with him, then he should come home instead of taking him away without telling them about it. 

Akshara also warns him to never again take her son without telling her or she will have to resort to legal channels. 

Abhimanyu sarcastically asks her if she has studied law because of this while Akshara tells him that she was preparing herself for this day. 

She also tells him that she had expected him to behave immaturely and selfishly and hurt people all around him. 

Turning her back to him, she tells him that she is going home to celebrate her son’s birthday and he can also come and celebrate it.

Akshara says he can also make a spectacle but he will find her and Abhinav prepared for every possibility.
