Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 28th October 2022 episode starts with Abhimanyu thinking about Akshara talking about evidence that she left with him. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu comes to Manjari to accept his mistake of judging Akshara and that he has betrayed Akshara. 

However, Manjari tells him to connect himself to his feelings and understand what his heart is telling him. 

Now the cloud of misunderstanding has evaporated, Abhimanyu believes Akshara leaving evidence in the house and searches for it.

In the meantime, Shefali takes out the blanket for Shivansh and Abhimanyu without being aware that the evidence is hidden in it. 

Later, Parth finds the Pendrive lying on the floor and wonders how it got there.

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu finds the shirt folded inside the blanket and put it in his almirah without checking it. 

Meanwhile, Manish is telling his family that he wants to share a meal with them as there is no guarantee of what tomorrow has in store for him and Kairav. 

Akshara thanks God for the meal and prays to be together forever. 

In the meantime, Parth gives the Pendrive to Mahima telling her that he found it lying on the floor. 

Mahima wonders about the missing shirt and fears that it might reach Abhimanyu while Parth tells him that time has come for the proof to come out. 

At the Goenka house, Akshara tries to motivate everyone and tells them to not accept defeat until the end and sings for them. 

The next morning, Akshara prays to God to put everything to the right as he knows that Kairav is innocent. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu wears the shirt that Akshara wrote on without being aware of it. 

In the meantime, Swarna prepares tea for Manish while Suhasini tells Swarna that Swarna has put her wishes over her marriage. Therefore she should not do anything to disappoint her else she will get destroyed. 

As the Goenkas are walking towards the door to go to the police station, they see Abhimanyu at the door. 

A flashback of Abhimanyu’s past visit haunts the Goenkas.

Akshara goes to him and asks him why has he come here when they were coming to the police station.

Abhimanyu stays quiet and looks at Akshara’s torn face. 

He once again calls the inspector and media to the house while everyone looks at him in shock. 

Abhimanyu takes off his jacket and turns around showing Akshara that she has found the shirt. 

Akshara gets happy to see the shirt understanding Abhimanyu’s intent while He tells the media and the police that Kairav Goenka is innocent and he is taking the case back. 

On being asked to present the evidence, Abhimanyu shows the Pendrive to the police and media and the video in it and requests them to show the truth. 

Afterwards, Abhimanyu tells Akshara that she had been right from the beginning and it was he who was in the wrong.
