Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 29th April 2023 episode starts with Abheer telling Manish and others that he is back while others ask him where he was. 

Despite Akshara’s attempt to stop Abheer, he tells everyone that Abhimanyu has given him a personal birthday party as he remembered his birthday. 

Manjari looks shocked to hear that Abheer was with Abhimanyu while Aarohi also complains about not knowing about the party. 

Surekha adds her punch by pointing at Abhimanyu’s unusual interest in Abheer while Manish tells them that it is not such a big thing as Abhimanyu shares a special bond with Abheer and is also family. 

However, Abhinav can not stop himself from complaining about Abhimanyu taking Abheer without telling them when he can come home and surprise Abheer there. 

Realizing the mood, Swarna tries to pacify the situation and tells Muskaan to ready Abheer for the party. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu is reliving Abhinav and Akshara’s words and wonders if Akshara and Abhinav are right but he recalls Abheer’s happiness with him and shrugs all thoughts.

Later, Abheer is impressed with the cake and prays to get healthy soon so he can enjoy yummy food again. 

Afterward, he cuts the cake and offers the first piece to Akshara while Ruhi tells him to hurry and feed Abhinav and then her. 

As Abhir takes the piece for Abhinav, Ruhi announces Abhimanyu’s arrival and Abhir runs to Abhimanyu with a piece of cake meant for Abhinav while Abhinav looks at them in fear. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu looks at Abhinav meaningfully while Akshara holds Abhinav’s hand in support. 

However, Abhir stops at the last minute and tells Abhimanyu that this piece is for Abhinav and he can only give it after giving it to his parents. 

Abhimanyu feels punched in the gut at the rejection while Abhinav feels revitalized and hugs Abhir.

Later, Manjari feels restless and tells Ruhi to leave while Abheer goes to request her to wait some more. 

However, Aarohi tells him that Manjari has to make preparations for veneration so they will have to leave. 

Manjari gives the present to Abhir along with the blessing for healthy and happy life while Abheer gives them all a return gift. 

Afterward, Manjari drags Abhimanyu with him, seeing his eyes lodged on Abheer. 

At home, Ruhi asks Aarohi why Abhimanyu gave a party to Abheer without telling her while Aarohi tells her to stop her questioning as she has a headache. 

Ruhi gets upset at being scolded and goes out of the room. 

On the other hand, Manjari scolds Abhimanyu for not recognizing his priorities or else he might have to choose between Abheer and his family. 

Just then, Ruhi comes to Abhimanyu complaining about Aarohi while Manjari tells him to cherish the happiness that God has bestowed upon him. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu thinks that he cannot tell anything to her before Abheer’s surgery. 

Elsewhere, Abhinav tells Akshara that he will not keep the secret anymore while Akshara tells him to be patient as they have to fight Abheer’s sickness as well as Abhimanyu's.

Meanwhile, Manjari tells Aarohi to share her problems with her while Aarohi tells her that if she is so petty that she is feeling insecure with Abheer and Abhimanyu’s growing closeness. 

Manjari tells her that there is nothing wrong in thinking for herself while Aarohi tells her that she is not scared for herself but for Ruhi and she does not want to become her old self due to these insecurities. 

Manjari also empathizes with Aarohi and tells her that her fear is not wrong and she feels the same for Abhimanyu. 

She also tells Aarohi that she is Abhimanyu’s fiance and should start exercising her rights on him and together they will make him understand that he will have to maintain distance from Abheer.
