Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 2nd April 2023 episode starts with Akshara coming to Abhinav and snatching his collar and questioning him why they have come to such a big hospital when they do not have the means to pay for it. 

Crying in a brittle voice, Akshara tells him that she tried to stop the doctors from leaving because she had faith in him that he will bring the money as promised but he didn’t nor allowed her to borrow from Manish and now her son’s life is in danger because of him. 

Abhinav remains quiet and looks at Akshara in a shocked state when Akshara sees the hospital slip in his hand and is shocked to see the bill-paid stamp on it. 

She feels embarrassed and apologetic while Abhinav goes to the doctor and requests him to perform the surgery as he has paid the bill. 

The doctor tells the nurse to prepare the patient while he informs the senior doctor. 

On the other hand, Abhimanyu is replying to Abheer when he begins to have a bad feeling about something. 

Just then, Shefali comes there and tells him that this is called Parent’s intuition and that she feels it when something happens to Shivansh. 

Abhimanyu gets worried and calls Ruhi to check up on her but the feeling persists. 

Meanwhile, Akshara apologizes to Abhinav for ranting without thinking while Abhinav reminds her of the promise he did to her six years ago that he will never let anything happen to her son. 

Akshara tells him not to call Abheer her son because he is more his son than her son.

Akshara tries to explain how she was feeling when he was not picking up the phone and the doctor was about to leave. 

However, Abhinav tells her that people say such things when they are in tension just as he did the other day. 

Later, Akshara asks him how he managed to get the money while he avoids the question. 

Just then, Neelam Amma comes there and tells Akshara that Abhinav has sold both his cars at half a price which shocks Akshara. 

Meanwhile, Manjari and Shefali present Abhimanyu and Aarohi with resort tickets to go and chill with each other before embarking on a new relationship. 

Ruhi also comes there and tells them that she will accompany them too. 

On the other hand, the doctor comes out of the surgery and tells Abhinav and Akshara that they have temporarily filled the hole in Abheer’s heart but there are more complications and Abheer will need another surgery that is done only a few times so far. 

Abhinav and Akshara look shocked when the doctor tells them that he is recommending them to the most capable doctor who has done this surgery before. 

However, Abhinav and Akshara are shocked to hear that the doctor is none other than Abhimanyu. 

Akshara walks out of the hospital while Abhinav comes there telling her that she cannot run from the truth.

Akshara tells him that she will not take Abheer to Abhimanyu while Abhinav tells her that things have gone out of their hands and now, only Abhimanyu can save Abheer and they should let him do his fatherly duty.  

Despite Akshara’s argument, Abhinav tells Akshara that they are going to Udaipur to Abhimanyu and she cannot allow her fear to rule her and risk Abhir’s life. 

Abhinav tells Akshara that even death will not take Abheer from them if Abhimanyu will perform the surgery. 

He takes out his phone and calls Kairav seeking his help in Abheer’s surgery. 

Kairav assures Abhinav to come as soon as possible and that he will make all preparations for Abheer’s surgery. 

Meanwhile, Manish and Swarna overhear Kairav and are shocked to hear that Abheer has a hole in his heart and Abhimanyu will have to perform the surgery.

Elsewhere, Abhinav tells Akshara that he is taking Abheer to Udaipur and tells her to weigh in her fears and stubbornness with Abheer’s life and decide what is more important to her.
