Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 2nd July 2023 episode starts with Abhinav running towards Abhir, weeping and worriedly shouting at him why he came to court without informing anyone as they all worry for him.

Later, Akshara follows and embraces Abhir asking if he is fine while Abhir denies saying he wants to stay with Akshara and Abhinav.

Abhir asks Abhimanyu why he is present at the court while Abhimanyu replies he came as his parents called him for support and Abhir hugs him telling him he is the best.

Later, Kairav comes and takes way Abhir as he bids goodbye leaving Abhinav and Abhimanyu poignant.

Meanwhile, Mahima states to Shefali and Anand that Abhimanyu is going through rough times and they ought to help him but he is doing wrong to snatch a child from his mother.

Further, she states that Shefali is prompting Abhimanyu to do this to win from Akshara.

Shefali thinks that it is not guaranteed that Abhir's arrival brings happiness and prays to God to provide strength to the parents.

On the other hand, Ruhi prays that Abhir returns back to Akshara and Abhinav while overhearing her Aarohi wonders that even every other kid might be praying for this but even Abhimanyu is longing for his son.

In the court, Swarna says they might win but Manish shuns her while Manjiri prays that Abhimanyu should win since he has pined so much for his son.

Later in the car, Abhir asks Kairav if he is tensed for custody while Kairav ensures him that his parents will win over the case.

In court, Akshara ensures Abhinav that they will return to Kasauli with Abhir while Abhimanyu quivers thinking about Abhir.

Later, The judge arrives and declares that the court has decided to grant the child's custody to Abhimanyu.

Everyone is felt befuddled while Akshara and Abhinav stare blankly, broken down completely.

Meanwhile, at Birla's house, Abhir asks Kairav if Akshara won the case while Ruhi comes and assures him that their prayers will work and he shall return back with his parents.

At court, the judges state that Akshara and Abhinav run a mere jam and taxi business together and are not financially stable like Abhimanyu who is a heart surgeon, who can provide Abhir with a better future and opportunities.

The judge adds that they have granted Akshara and Abhinav to visit Abhir per weekend only with Abhimanyu's permission and ordered them to change Abhinav's name with Abhimanyu's in Abhir birth certificate to align with legal orders and closes the case.

Akshara stupefied falls down on her knees and cries out blankly while Abhimanyu gets sympathetic looks and her and cries out.

Akshara recalls how she gave birth and brought up Abhir with Abhinav together leading a happy life while Manish embraces Abhinav to support him.

Swarna and Abhinav ask Akshara to get up and leave for home but she faints.

Manjiri states she knew this situation will create havoc as the Judge stated her decision and they lost everything they had.

Abhimanyu tells Manjiri that this is not their victory as he feels bad for them and asks whether he should console them while Manjiri stops her telling the pain of a mother losing her child is the greatest in this world.

Further, the one who provides pain cannot deliver relief and they leave.

Later, Abhinav asks Manish to leave them alone for a moment as he tries to make Akshara realize that they have lost everything and they need to return back home.

Hearing this, Akshara heads out of the courtroom staring wide and blank.
