Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 2nd May 2023 episode starts with Abheer telling Akshara that he found Abhimanyu’s photo as a bridegroom. 

Both Abhimanyu and Akshara rush to take the picture and are relieved to see that he was alone in the picture. 

Meanwhile, Abheer asks them why they look so worried seeing the photo while Ruhi comes to take the pic and asks Abhimanyu when did he marry when he is supposed to marry Aarohi. 

Just then, Abhinav tells them that it is not the wedding photo but a modeling photograph for one of his friend's fashion shows. 

Later, Aarohi finds Abhimanyu’s and Akshara’s wedding picture and burns it in the fire. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav tells Akshara to stop living in the past as their present matter more. 

However, Akshara tells him that she is scared for Abheer who will not be able to handle the truth in his current condition. 

At the same time, Abhimanyu also worries about Abheer’s health and decides to tell him everything after his surgery. 

Later, Abhinav gets a message from Neelam Amma telling him that Muskaan has agreed to meet the boy but they are only in Udaipur for two days so it will have to be the next day.

Abhinav becomes worried while Akshara tells him that she will ask Manish to make preparations for the same. 

Later, all the families are gathered for another activity at the camp, where one member from each family will sing the song and they will be marked for their singing and the scores will be added to their score. 

Ruhi insists Abhimanyu sing the song as Aarohi is a very poor singer while Abhimanyu tells her that he only knows one song. 

Abhimanyu has prepared this song for Akshara’s birthday and with wet eyes sings “Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua, Pehli Bar Hua”. 

On the other hand, Akshara goes to sing the song from their team where she asks Abhinav to suggest the song and Abhinav unknowingly tells her to sing “Piya Tose Naina Laage Re” which is the same song that Abhimanyu requested at his first meeting with Akshara. 

With Akshara’s melodious voice filling the air, Abhimanyu goes back in time when Akshara was his. 

Afterward, everyone cheers for Akshara while Aarohi observes Abhimanyu sitting in stunned silence and decides to work hard to keep her family protected. 

Meanwhile, Manjari gets the camp pictures and is shocked to see Akshara present there too. 

Just then, Shefali comes to Manjari and tells her that in order to save Shivansh from Parth, she will have to divorce Parth. 

The next day, everyone is gathered for their next task at the camp. 

On the other hand, Muskaan feels disheartened to see Kairav excitedly prepare for the guest who is coming with her proposal. 

Elsewhere, the leader tells them that in this task, children have to swap families to participate with other families while Akshara and Aarohi pray that Abheer does not choose Abhimanyu’s name in the chit. 

However, Abhimanyu prays to God to keep Abheer on his team as he wants to spend as much time with him as possible. 

Just then, Abhir announces happily to Abhimanyu that they are in the same team.
