Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 2nd November 2023 episode starts with Akshara coming to Muskaan saying that she has prepared food for Ruhi and if she can give it to her. 

Meanwhile, Surekha tells Akshara that she does not need to worry about Ruhi as they can look after her. 

Just then, Aarohi’s funeral-prepared body is brought into the courtyard and everyone begins to think of the moments they lived with her. 

With a heavy heart, Akshara walks towards the body when Manish stops her. 

Just then, the police arrive there and ask Manish and others if Aarohi’s death is an accident or murder. 

Akshara thinks to herself that if he wants to send her to jail then for Ruhi’s sake she will bear it too. 

However, the police tell the inspector that Aarohi’s death is accidental.

After a while, Akshara walks towards Aarohi but Manish stops her, saying that Aarohi’s death might be an accident but she is the one responsible for it. 

Akshara tells him that if he wants to blame her then he can but let her meet her sister one last time. 

However, Manish tells her that it is her punishment that she will not see Aarohi in her last moments.

Akshara begins to cry and beg Manish not to deprive her when Abhimanyu comes forward and takes her to Aarohi’s body. 

She cries, thinking about moments with Aarohi and tells her that she will always keep her promise to her. 

Later, Akshara comes to Ruhi’s room who is talking in her sleep, telling Aarohi to wake up. 

Akshara caresses Ruhi’s head, telling her that she understands the pain she is going through as it is not easy to lose parents at such a young age. 

Just then, Ruhi wakes up to find Akshara and not Aarohi standing there and tells her to go away as she is the worst aunt in the world who has taken both her parents from her.

Akshara is shocked to hear Ruhi’s blame and tells her that it was an accident and not something that she has done. 

However, Ruhi is adamant and tells her to leave and pushes her away while Abheer catches Akshara from falling.

Manish and others return home with Aarohi’s ashes and with laden feet stands in front of Aarohi’s picture. 

Just then, Abheer and Ruhi’s arguing voice reaches Surekha and Manish when they run there. 

Seeing Abheer and Ruhi bicker and fight, everyone looks worried while Surekha asks them if they will have to witness these fights every day.

Later, Surekha expresses her sadness saying that seeing Akshara reminds her of Aarohi and asks Suhasini how will they live without Aarohi. 

Suhasini tells her that they will have to bear this until time heals them while Surekha tells her that bearing the pain of a young daughter’s death is not easy and when they are feeling so much pain then what will Ruhi be feeling? 

On being asked, Surekha tells Suhasini that she does not want Akshara to go to jail but at the same time she wants a solution to everyday fights. 

Meanwhile, Swarna tells them that at this moment, Ruhi is their only priority and she wants justice for Ruhi. 

Coming forward to Manish, Swarna makes him swear upon her saying that when it comes to choosing between Ruhi and Akshara, he will always put Ruhi first.

On the other hand, Akshara packs her belongings along with Aarohi’s picture when Suhasini comes to stop her from leaving. 

However, Akshara tells her that it is best for everyone that she leaves now as Ruhi will be reminded of her mother's death if she sees her daily.
