Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 30th May 2023 episode starts with Surekha suggesting to marry Kairav while Manish and Surekha are on a video call with Akshara. 

However, Manish gets sarcastic to suggest that marrying will automatically turn Kairav intelligent. 

Meanwhile, Suhasini tells him that on the inside, he also wants the same thing for Kairav as life cannot be spent working only but a person needs a companion to feel alive. 

At the same time, Akshara asks Manish if they are thinking about Muskaan for Kairav. 

Manish tells Akshara that there is no doubt that Muskaan is a very nice girl but they do not want to hurt her or Neelam Amma’s feelings by bringing up the sensitive matter.

Just then, Kairav tells everyone that he will not marry. 

Akshara argues with Kairav telling him that he should not let one bad experience rule his whole life. 

Meanwhile, Suhasini tells him that he should give them a reason for losing faith in the institution of marriage. 

Abheer Looks For Answers

Elsewhere, Abheer is looking at his childhood album and is trying to understand how can Abhinav not be his father when he was with him since day one. 

Just then, Abhimanyu comes to him and asks him what is he doing watching the album so late while Abheer tells him that he is looking for someone. 

Abheer tries to understand Ruhi’s relationship with Abhimanyu and why is he marrying Aarohi now when he is Ruhi’s poppy since her birth. 

Abhimanyu tells him that he is not Ruhi’s father but her father's brother who is dead now.

Abhir asks him if Ruhi knows that her father has become a star. 

On Abhimanyu’s confirmation, Abheer gets sad thinking that Ruhi also knows about her father then why does he not? 

Abhimanyu observes Abheer’s unusual quietness and asks him if he is alright.

Meanwhile, Abheer thinks for a moment and then changes his mind and walks away, leaving Abhimanyu wondering if something other than his project is bothering him.

Abheer Compares Himself to Abhinav

The next morning, Abhimanyu prepares healthy Upma and tells Abhinav to eat it instead of Bread Jam which is unhealthy. 

Akshara and Abhimanyu begin to bicker about their breakfast choices while Abhinav tells them to stop as Abheer will get more upset seeing them fight. 

After a while, Abhinav comes to Abheer and is surprised to see him get ready on his own. 

As Abhinav helps Abheer finish his dressing, Abheer compares himself with him in the mirror and concludes that he does not resemble Abhinav at all. 

At the breakfast table, Abhimanyu thinks of telling Akshara about Abheer's last night's behaviour but changes his mind. 

Afterwards, they all try to cheer Abheer but he remains sad and quiet. 

Ruhi's Gives Abheer an Idea

Later, Abheer calls Ruhi and shares his problem with her telling her to keep it a secret.

On hearing that Abhinav is not his real father, Ruhi tries to comfort him and tells him that she also does not have a father as he has become a star but she has Poppy, Dida, and Mata-shri.

She also assures him that he is also not alone as he has Akshara, Abhinav, and Poppy too. 

However, Abheer tells her that she knows about her father but he does not know even his name. 

Ruhi tells him to call the hospital and asks them who his father is as Aarohi has told her that hospitals know everything about babies. 

Abheer likes the idea and tells her that he will definitely give them a call. 

Just then, Akshara comes there asking about her phone while Abheer asks her if she has told him everything about his family. 

Akshara looks puzzled and tells him that one cannot know everything at once and some things are learned with time and age. 

Later, Abheer borrows Abhimanyu’s phone to make a call to the hospital using the album which makes Abhimanyu curious. 

At the same time, Abheer cannot get through the answering machine and decides to go to the hospital himself.
