Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 31st August 2023 episode starts with Abhimanyu telling Abheer that they brought him here to have a fresh and clean environment. 

After Abheer shows his approval, they all become happy and Akshara tells him to go and freshen up and then come for breakfast. 

Abhimanyu takes him to his room to take a bath while Abheer tells him to put him down as he is also soiling his clothes. 

However, Abhimanyu tells him that this is not the case and he is only making up for not changing his diapers in his infancy.

Abheer feels overwhelmed and hugs him tightly. 

Goenkas and Birlas Dance Together

Meanwhile, Akshara thanks everyone for coming there on her say so. 

However, the whole family tells her that no one came there for her but everyone is here for Abheer. 

Muskaan feels sad and looks at Abhinav’s picture and goes away from there. 

After a while, Muskaan is standing on a stool while dusting when her foot slips but Kairav is there to catch her. 

Both of them apologise to each other while Kairav tells her that they cannot stop trusting each other. 

Muskaan also tells him that Abhinav was his family first and the pain of losing him is very intense for her so she needs more time to adjust to the changes happening around her. 

Kairav caresses her cheeks fondly and tells her that she can take all the time in the world and he will always be there beside her. 

Muskaan hugs Kairav in gratitude while the family hoots at them for making up. Afterwardds, the family together sings and dances “Ek Dusre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum” and cleans the place. 

Akshara Feels Happy and Obligated

Later, Akshara sees Abheer sleeping while hugging Abhimanyu and addresses Abhinav that they always agree that whatever is spent on making Abheer happy is good spending.

However, with him gone, she finds it difficult to tabulate which spending is good and which is not as seeing Abheer accepting Abhimanyu as a father makes her happy but it is also an obligation for her. 

Later, Abhimanyu hears Akshara talking to Abheer’s doctor at midnight and tells her to have patience as everything will be alright. 

Afterwards, Abhimanyu asks her about her case to distract her but Akshara tells him that she cannot share confidential information but can only tell him that his client's brother stole his buffalo. 

Abhimanyu is tickled to hear the case and teases Akshara about the case while Akshara tells him that his client has a dairy. 

The next morning, Abheer wakes up and becomes happy to see that he has not wet the bed. 

Abhimanyu also praises Abheer while Akshara becomes happily relieved. 

Later, Akshara helps Abheer revise while Abheer tells Manjari to help Abhimanyu revise as well.

After One Month

Manish opens the door and complains to the milkman for being late again while he apologises and assures him that he will be on time from tomorrow.

Manish passes the milk to Muskaan and asks Swarna to prepare Sweets along with tea. 

Swarna is on the phone with Manjari and tells her that Manish is more excited than Abheer for getting the award. 

Everyone talks with Manjari happily about Abheer getting an award and how they uprooted themselves in coming here for Abheer.

Meanwhile, Kairav tells them to get done with all their work so they do not be late or else Akshara and Abhimanyu will not leave them in peace.

Elsewhere, Akshara and Abhimanyu tallies their to-do list for Abheer on the phone and reminds each other of their task. 

After a while, they keep thinking that they are missing something until therealizese that they forgot to buy his bow tie for him. 

They are about to leave when their work comes their way.
