Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 31st January 2023 episode starts with Akshara running after Abhimanyu’s car while Abhimanyu is thinking about Akshara and Abhinav and tells his driver to stop the car to buy some pain killers. 

In the meantime, Abheer asks Abhinav to send the pictures to the printout shop because he wants to put them in his project. 

Abhinav looks at the photo and something strikes odd to him. 

He begins to add small tidbits of the past days. 

Meanwhile, Akshara calls Abhimanyu and tells him that she is sorry but she cannot accept his apology. 

On the other hand, Abhinav comes out of the door and gets worried about not finding Akshara there.

Just then, Muskaan comes there and Abhinav leaves Abheer with Muskaan and goes in search of Akshara. 

Meanwhile, Akshara tells Abhimanyu that she was never given a chance to put her side of the story six years back but today she will not let him go until she tells him what she has to say. 

Akshara tells Abhimanyu that his one sorry is not enough for all the things he said to her in the past.

She tells him that she has accepted when he told her that their relationship is a burden on the family and said that she did not feel the pain of Neil's death like him.

Akshara states that she also accepted the divorce he did not take time to consider but she will not accept his apology. 

She tells him that he is not apologizing because of her but because his guilt is weighing on him but she is not ready to lighten his baggage. 

Akshara tells him that he will also have to carry his baggage just like she is carrying her baggage. 

Afterward, she tells him to go forever as she has said what she has come to say. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav is walking on the road while thinking about Abhimanyu and Akshara’s exchange. 

In the meantime, Abhimanyu gives his driver the box of jam that Akshara has given him but a bottle drops in his bag.

Meanwhile, some neighbor tells Abhinav to go home as the storm is brewing. 

In the meantime, Akshara comes home and cries thinking of Abhimanyu, trying to heal all wounds with just a sorry. 

Later, Abhinav comes back home feeling depressed but feels relieved to hear Akshara’s voice in the house. 

However, he tells her that he wants to have a talk with her. 

Just then, Abheer leaves to play with his friends while Abhinav asks Akshara if Abhimanyu Birla is her Abhi. 

Akshara admits to it and asks him if he has any questions or does he feel bad about this.

She also tells him that Abhimanyu is her past ex-husband. 

Akshara tells Abhinav that she never told him about her past because she thought she has left her old life behind and had started a new chapter in life.

However, all of her concerns are shattered when Abhimanyu came back into their lives, and could not bring herself to tell Abhinav about it.
