Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 3rd October 2023 episode starts with Akshara trying to reach her mobile when Abhimanyu's car passes her by without seeing her. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu once again calls Akshara and this time she picks up her call and tells him that she is standing behind him. 

Seeing Akshara, Abhimanyu runs towards her without caring for a moving traffic. 

On the other hand, guests at the Goenka house leave, while Manjari asks why has Akshara taken Abhinav’s name. 

Meanwhile, Swarna tells her that they cannot take out any meaning without knowing the whole story. 

However, Surekha tells them that Akshara ran from her own Haldi ceremony and tries to explain the reason but Suhasini scolds her for unnecessary commentary. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi is trying to call Akshara when Sujeet comes from behind and touches her shoulder to comfort her that these things often happen and she can always come to him for any problem. 

At the same time, Manjari also wonders if Akshara has once again left Abhimanyu. 

Meanwhile, Manish tells her that there is nothing wrong with Akshara and Abhimanyu’s relationship.

On the other hand, Abhimanyu asks Akshara if she is alright and that they should go to the hospital for a check-up. 

However, Akshara tells her that she only felt slightly dizzy because of the heat and wedding stress. 

Abhimanyu tells her that if she does not want to get married then she can tell her while Akshara looks surprised at the comment. 

Abhimanyu points to her vanishing act during the ceremony leading Akshara to tell him that she needs to tell him something about Abhinav.

Later, Akshara returns home with Abhimanyu and apologises to Manjari for giving her a fright but she has to go. 

She tells her that Abhinav has taken a loan for a taxi for which the lenders are troubling Neelam Amma and that is why she needs to send some legal papers, telling them that she is responsible for the loan and not Neelam Amma.  

She also tells him that she wanted to take Abhimanyu too but he was very busy that she had to go alone. 

Manjari apologises for thinking the worst while Akshara assures her that she is not going anywhere. 

After the Haldi ceremony, Aarohi is mixing some potion to remove the Haldi when Sujeet comes from behind her and touches her shoulder, offering his assistance and saying she can come to him if she needs any help. 

However, Aarohi feels weird at the touch but thinks that he is a very physical person as some people are.

Late at night, Akshara walks stealthily outside the house and asks Manjari why she has called her like this.

Manjari tells her that she has come to talk to her about what happened today. 

She tells her that today when she went missing, her heart stopped and the world ceased revolving so she could imagine what Abhimanyu must have felt. 

She also asks her to promise her that she will never let Abhinav come between her and Abhimanyu. 

Akshara looks shocked and tells her that she cannot possibly forget six years with Abhinav. 

She tells her that she has already promised Abhimanyu that she will give a hundred per cent to this relationship and will do her best to be good to him to raise Abheer together as the foundation of their relationship is friendship. 

Seeing Manjari disappointed that she does not love Abhimanyu, she tells her that this marriage with Abhimanyu is not like their first marriage based on the sea of love but the lake of friendship which has more stability. 

Manjari tells her that if she is not ready to give Abhimanyu the love he deserves then her pain should also not become part of his life.
