Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 5th March 2023 episode starts with Ruhi exclaiming to see Abhimanyu pray to Lord Shiva. 

Manjari is delighted at Abhimanyu’s change of heart while Pandit Ji calls Abhimanyu to sit in his place. 

On being told to take his would-be wife’s name, Abhimanyu takes Akshara’s name with his which makes Manjari anxious. 

As Pandit Ji asks for Kalash, Manjari makes a call to Manish. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu is feeling Akshara’s presence nearby when Ruhi shouts happily that Kalash is here.

However, Manjari is shocked to see Akshara and Abhinav bringing the Kalash to their door. 

Akshara stares at them blankly while Abhinav tells everyone that they have brought the Kalash for veneration. 

Just then, Manjari stops Akshara at the door and tells her that she should not dare to come inside the house. 

Abhinav tells Manjari that they are here for the ritual while Manjari angrily tells him that Akshara is not fit to perform the ritual when she is a failure at keeping promises. 

Akshara also tells her that this is a veneration Kalash but Manjari stops her by saying it WAS a veneration Kalash but now it is a suffering Kalash. 

Abhinav explains his reason for coming with the Kalash while Manjari tells him that there is a huge amount of pain associated with Akshara’s presence in the house.

Abhimanyu also tries to convince Manjari to let them put the Kalash and then they will go back but Manjari refuses to let Akshara enter and reminds her that she has already killed one son and they do not have more sons to sacrifice. 

Abhinav tells her that Akshara is equally hurt and tells Manjari to let the wounds of the past heal instead of keeping them pestering. 

However, Manjari tells him that Akshara’s name is enough to open the wound. 

Abhinav tells Manjari to not say another word as he will not tolerate Akshara’s insult anymore. 

He also tells her that despite knowing the extent of their hatred for her, she still brings the Kalash so that the Pooja can take place without any hindrance which is commendable.  

He praises Akshara for never talking back to Manjari despite the things she has said to her because of the family harmony and she should do the same. 

Manjari insults Abhinav by saying he has no right to say all these things to her as there is no relationship with this family. 

Abhimanyu and Akshara stop Manjari simultaneously from speaking further.

Akshara tells Manjari that they have come here so that the pooja gets done without any hindrance but this does not give them the right insult. 

Mahima tells Akshara that she should not take offense at Manjari as she is elder than her. 

However, elders can scold them only if there is any relation with them but as Manjari said that there is no relation between this house with Abhinav, so she has no right to insult him. 

She also tells Mahima that she will not tolerate her husband’s insult. 

Akshara is about to put the Kalash down, telling her that she has brought this Kalash with a clear conscience but now she thinks it is time to leave. 

However, Abhimanyu stops her by telling her that this Kalash should not be put down and explains to Manjari that the Pooja will go waste if the Kalash is put down. 

Abhimanyu invites Akshara and Abhinav inside, reminding Manjari that their present should be more important to her than the past. 

Later, Akshara watches Abhimanyu perform the veneration with Aarohi and put the Kalash on their hands, and takes a token of Shagun before leaving.
