Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 6th March 2023 episode starts with Abheer coughing badly when Muskaan goes to get water for him. 

Just then, Kairav hears him and tries to comfort him, and goes to get water. 

Meanwhile, Muskaan returns with water and tells Abheer to drink with medicine. 

Seeing Abheer throw tantrums, Kairav uses his stern voice to make Abheer take the medicine.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu argues with Manjari for creating a scene while Manjari tells him that he is only pretending to move on. 

On hearing that he took Akshara’s name in the Pooja, Abhimanyu tells her that he isn't doing it consciously. 

Manjari tells him that he still only cares for Akshara and tells him to not lie to himself. 

She tells him that if he is deeply affected by Akshara’s presence, then how will he move on with Aarohi with Akshara present in his mind? 

Manjari tells him that he should see Akshara but also see Abhinav because he is always behind her. 

She tells him that Akshara is happy in her new family but not him. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu recalls Abhinav standing up for Akshara and Akshara doing the same for him and feeling empty inside. 

In the meantime, Akshara is recalling Manjari’s harsh words and is so lost in her thoughts when Manish comes there, telling her that Aarohi had called and is concerned for her. 

Akshara tells him that she does not mind Manajri’s words and understands she is hurting.

Manish praises Akshara for growing up and becoming mature and also praises Abhinav for standing up for her. 

Manish tells Akshara that fate also has to play a role in keeping the relationship together otherwise who could have thought that Abhimanyu will ever leave her? 

Hearing Manish call Abhimanyu incompetent to stand the test of time, Akshara defends him by saying that the storm was too intense for them to take control and keep things intact. 

Seeing Abheer and Abhinav together, Manish tells Akshara that after knowing Abhinav he is sure that Abhinav will always stand by her no matter where she is and that he loves and respects her a lot.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu comes to his room to see it in an uproar. 

A staff hands him the box telling him that it was in the back of the cupboard. 

Abhimanyu recognizes the box remembering the time he bought this gift for Akshara that would have reminded her that he loves her so much. 

On the other hand, Akshara finds the earring and the love letter written by Abhinav for her and is shocked to read that he loves her but respects her wishes to not change their relationship status. 

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu hallucinates Akshara’s presence in his room and tells her that he has brought this gift for her but it turns out that it was Aarohi.

Aarohi takes the necklace from him admires it and thanks him for the gift.  

Abhimanyu wants to clarify the gift but Ruhi’s arrival stops him.

Elsewhere, Akshara puts the earring back in its place and calls Abhinav after coming to a decision. 

Akshara tells Abhinav that they should remove Ji between them and call each other by their respective names as this will bring them closer. 

Abhinav looks puzzled but also happy at the same time and agrees to call her Akshara.
