Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 6th May 2022 episode starts with Manjari performing the Aarti for Abhimanyu when Harshvardhan speaks poorly to Manjari making Abhimanyu angry.

Feeling the humiliation of her mother in his heart Abhimanyu refuses to acknowledge Harshvardhan's right as a father and asks Manjari to put 'Pagdi' on him.

Meanwhile, Akshara sings a song as a thank you to her family for always being there for her.

Manjari’s eyes are filled with tears of gratitude at the honour Abhimanyu bestows on her.

Harshvardhan silently walks away from them and is crying silently while Anand comes to console him.

On the other hand, Akshara and Kairav are sharing a sibling moment.

Akshara and Kairav feel Kartik and Naira's absence and remember them with love.

After a while, Manjari happily performs other rituals with Abhimanyu and wishes for him to have a loving and respectful partner who is always beside him helping him overcome all the challenges of life with ease.

Afterwards, Abhimanyu requests everyone to give Akshara a chance to win their heart without constraining her as she will be coming to their house all alone and would need their love and support in adjusting to her new family.

Elsewhere, Akshara is eagerly waiting for Abhimanyu’s arrival and anticipating being his wife and feeling excited at finally belonging to each other forever.

Between jokes, dancing and laughter, Abhimanyu is all set to leave on his precious bike.

On the other hand, Kairav announces the arrival of Baraat and Goenkas rush to welcome them while Akshara watches from the window of her room. 

The Baraat arrives with all the pomp with the procession dancing a well-choreographed dance and looking spectacular while doing it.

Goenkas also welcome them with open arms while dancing to an equally merry tune.
