Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 7th May 2023 episode starts with Akshara telling Manjari that making a family asks for a sacrifice and work on it that Abhinav has done for their family without asking for any favours in return.

She also tells her that Abhinav has given her grandson everything including father’s love and that too unconditionally. 

Akshara tells her that if selfish people are like Abhinav then may God make everyone as selfish as Abhinav. 

Sh,futher, in her anger goes on to tell that Abhinav is so unselfish that they have been living like parents to Abheer without forming a relationship like a husband and wife.

Akshara’s confession shocks everyone and Akshara also realises her mistake about what she has said. 

However, Manjari asks her why she has done all this and why she forced them to live half lives like this. 

Just then Abheer comes there asking them why are they all fighting. 

Abhinav tells Abheer that he must be dreaming because no one is fighting but merely talking. 

Just then Abhinav's alarm goes off and he tells everyone that Abheer needs to sleep for at least ten hours for the tests. 

Abhimanyu also tells them that Abheer's surgery might get delayed if he did not sleep properly and tells everyone that they should leave and let him rest. 

Meanwhile, Akshara thinks of her arguments with Manjari and feels shaken at letting the truth of their relationship slip. 

Mahima Shows Mirror to Manjari

On the other hand, Mahima calls Manjari a hypocrite and tells her that Akshara’s situation is no different than Shefali, who according to her, has more rights to her child. 

Manjari looks perplexed while Mahima tells her that if Parth is not a good husband then Abhimanyu is not an exemplary husband and father as well. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav is sitting alone crying, thinking about Akshara and Manjari’s words and the insults that were inflicted on him. 

Later, Akshara comes there and sees Manish sitting with Abhinav and feels sad about hurting them both. 

Meanwhile, Manish touches Abhinav’s feet in gratitude asking him what kind of man he is that he has given so much love to another man’s child without complaint when people do not do for their own children. 

However, Abhinav tells him that he is nothing great but just a driver who was alone in life until Akshara comes in it with Abheer. 

He tells him that he has not done any favours to them as it is his family only.

Surekha Plays Matchmaker

Elsewhere, Aarohi is on the call with Surekha, telling her that there is nothing left to think about and she is only worried about Ruhi who will be shattered if she cannot have Abhimanyu as her father.

She also tells Surekha that Abhimanyu and Akshara are stuck with each other and there is no possibility of anything happening between her and Abhimanyu. 

Later, Surekha tells everyone that fate has brought Abhimanyu and Akshara back because they are meant to be together. 

She tells them that at this moment, Abhinav, Aarohi, Abhimanyu and Akshara are all sad and if they can save two people then they should. 

She also tells them that in India, people live in a loveless marriages only for the sake of someone or another instead of living a happy life. 

Swarna Reminds Akshara of Her Responsibilities

After a while, Swarna comes to Akshara and tells her that she is not here to blame her as she knows it was circumstances and time that has made her do everything. 

She tells him that she understands her reason for marrying Abhinav but still, that marriage is still incomplete because Abhinav is devoid of his rights as a husband. 

Meanwhile, Akshara tells Swarna that she understands her meaning but they have come together for Abheer and Abhinav never forced anything on her. 

Swarna tells her that marriage comes with many responsibilities but it does not mean that she can neglect one for another and it is her responsibility to make this relationship complete. 

Later, Abhinav comes to their room where Akshara apologises to him for hurting him while Abhinav tells her that he is not angry at her but only sad that their truth has come out. 

Akshara tells him what she said was unintentional but she cannot control herself hearing him being accused.
