Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 8th February 2023 episode starts with Abheer asking Akshara to not work when Akshara tells him that she is making jam for his sister. 

Abheer asks her to tell them more about his aunt and sister. 

Akshara tells Abheer and Abhinav about her and Aarohi's past.

Abheer asks Akshara why they need jam now while Akshara tells him that her sister is not well and Ruhi is not eating anything except for her jam. 

Later, Abhinav comes home after delivering the jam and asks Akshara to rest. 

However, Akshara is conflicted and tells Abhinav whether she should go to Udaipur to meet Aarohi or not.

She tells him that there is so much unfinished business between them that her common sense is telling her to not go while her heart longs to see her sister. 

Abhinav suggests using the ball to decide for her as whichever vessel the ball will get dropped in, will be the decision for her. 

Later, the ball decides that Akshara will go to Udaipur. 

Abhinav offers to come with her but she tells him that she will have to take this journey alone. 

In the meantime, Ruhi is eating the jam and tells Abhimanyu that this jam has reduced her fear. 

Meanwhile, Akshara is booking the flight when Abhimanyu’s message pops up, thanking her for the jam. 

Later, Akshara gives instructions to Abheer and Abhinav about going on about life after she is gone. 

Abhinav tells her to not worry about them as they will manage and tells her to focus on herself as she will be going alone. 

Seeing Akshara cry, Abheer gives her a broch saying “We Are With You”. 

After a while, Abhinav feels sad at Akshara’s leaving and tries to convince himself not to cry. 

Just then Muskaan comes there and tells him to not feel sad and asks her to share his worries with him. 

Meanwhile, Kairav complains to Abhimanyu for not letting the specialist doctor come that he had arranged for Aarohi. 

However, Abhimanyu assures him that Aarohi is in good hands and recovering, and if there is any need for a specialist, then they will call him. 

He assures him that as a person he has broken many promises but as a doctor, he has never broken his Hippocratic oath. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav tells Muskaan that he cannot tell anything to her without Akshara’s permission but the reason must be big enough for her that she has never returned in six years. 

Muskaan teases him about loving Akshara so much that the thought of staying away is making him sad. 

However, Abhinav tells her that it is not love but the habit of always having her around that is making him sad.

Muskaan's next words about a lover's hope of meeting after a lengthy separation make Abhinav worried as this scenario fits with Abhimanyu and Akshara.
