Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 8th June 2023 episode starts with Akshara making kheer when Abheer comes there and tells Akshara that if Abhimanyu will allow, then can he have one bowl of it. 

Akshara turns sad and asks Abheer if he is alright about not knowing about his real father. 

Abheer tells her that now he knows that she will tell him as soon as he will become a big boy so he is just waiting for that. 

Akshara feels relieved at Abheer being an understanding child and vows to tell Abhinav after Kairav and Muskaan’s wedding. 

Meanwhile, Kairav sends a selfie to Aarohi explaining to her that he is getting married and she will have to come to Kasauli for that. 

Aarohi looks shocked at the news while Ruhi gets excited and tells Aarohi that she will go to meet Poppy and Abheer. 

Manjari also looks shocked to hear the news.

Meanwhile, Manish happily finishes her talk with Pandit Ji telling him to give them two choices. 

Suhasini tells them that this wedding is very special for them as it might be her last. 

Elsewhere, Neelam Amma tells Abhinav that she wants to marry Muskaan with simplicity.

However, Akshara tells them to ask Muskaan what is her wish. 

Both Muskaan and Kairav feel shy telling about their choices while Abhimanyu teases Kairav and Muskaan to use the opportunity. 

After a while, Muskaan shyly tells them that she wants a small wedding with close friends and relatives. 

Kairav lands a kiss on Muskaan's cheek while everyone is busy in talks but is caught by Akshara who teases him mercilessly for blushing so profusely.

Later, all gathers around their phone for a video call. 

They are all excited about the wedding and Manish offers them two options telling them that one Mahurat (date) is four months later and one is after seven days. 

They both agree to have a wedding after seven days but they clash about having a wedding at Kasauli or Udaipur. 

Suhasini urges them to let her have the wedding with pomp as this might be her last wedding while Abhinav is adamant to have a wedding in Kasauli with simplicity. 

Surekha also uses the opportunity to remind Abhinav of his weak financial status telling them to come to Udaipur.

In the meantime, Muskaan tells them that she is still the daughter of this house and wants to marry in Kasauli to fulfil her brother and grandmother’s dream. 

However, Swarna tells her that she will be the daughter of this house too so she should not be afraid to speak her mind. 

She also tells her that they are only thinking about not burdening Kairav and Neelam Amma as they have a lot of guests and in Udaipur they have a lot of help and venues to choose from. 

Meanwhile, Kairav tells Swarna that he can arrange the same thing in Kasauli no matter how many people attend.

Surekha once more spews her poison telling Kairav that he is speaking Muskaan’s family language in such a short time. 

Before anyone could speak, Aarohi intervenes telling Surekha to not talk nonsense as they would also expect Muskaan to adopt them as their family then why are they expecting anything different from Kairav? 

She also tells Kairav that having a wedding in Udaipur is more practical as traveling to another place will be difficult. 

However, Neelam Amma again requests them to let them have a wedding in Kasauli. 

Just then, the call disconnects while Neelam Amma gets worried thinking the groom’s family has taken offence. 

Both Akshara and Abhimanyu try to comfort Neelam Amma telling her that there must be some network issue. 

They even let it slip that their wedding was also full of debates despite living in the same city. 

As soon as the words are out they realise the graveness of what they have said.
