Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 8th October 2023 episode starts with Abhimanyu telling Abheer and Ruhi his feelings for Akshara but both the children look more confused and ask Akshara to tell them how much she loves Abhimanyu. 

Seeing Akshara quiet, Abhimanyu tells them to finish interviewing them and go play. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi keeps the report in her clutch, thinking that no one will touch it.  

After a while, Abheer and Ruhi announce Akshara and Abhimanyu’s performance. 

However, Suhasini tells Manish not to take Akshara on the dance floor as it is not deemed good for a bride to dance in her own Sangeet. 

Everyone is shocked to hear that and tells Suhasini that these days bride and groom dance at their wedding functions. 

Suhasini tells them it is the reason why couples have so many problems in their marriage.

Aarohi also tells everyone that she has dreamt that Akshara fell while dancing so they should not take any chances. 

Abhimanyu tells them that he understands that they are worried about Akshara because of her fast but not to worry as he will take good care of her. 

Afterwards, Abhimanyu takes the dance floor with Akshara and dances to the tunes of “Tum Aaye To”. 

Afterwards, Manjari tells everyone that if they have no objection then she should want to have Abhimanyu and Akshara get engaged too. 

Manish gets happy and tells her that they were thinking the same thing and have even brought the ring for Abhimanyu. 

Manjari tells him that she too has brought the ring and goes to get it. 

However, Manjari picks up Aarohi’s purse instead of her own and looks for the ring in it. 

Aarohi looks at Majari with dread as she opens the report, wondering what it has when Suhasini gives Manjari her purse and takes the one in Manjari’s hand. 

She feels relieved while Manjari palms her head for being forgetful. 

Later, Suhasini tells Abhimanyu and Akshara that after this ceremony their decision will be final and they should accept it as God’s will. 

Abhimanyu and Akshara put the ring on each other’s fingers and their heart fluttered at the finality of their decision.

Later, Aarohi brings lime water for Akshara and tries to analyse her pulse conspicuously.

However, Akshara becomes suspicious and tells Aarohi what has got into her and if she is hiding something from her. 

Meanwhile, Aarohi tells her that she is checking her pulse because she can see how worried she is, telling her to calm herself and have faith that everyone will be fine in this relationship.

Elsewhere, Manish is happy that all things went smoothly today and thinks of settling Aarohi as well so he can retire. 

In the meantime, Abhimanyu and Akshara talk on a video call and make fun of their masks but get serious thinking that they usually talk about their responsibilities but will they do that even after their wedding?

However, Abhimanyu pushes all his thoughts aside and asks her about her report as he is about to call the hospital when Akshara tells him to not call so late in the night and that it will come by morning. 

Abhimanyu tells her to rest now and have a wonderful breakfast because they have to attend the wedding of two friends the next day.
