Today's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 9th May 2022 episode starts with Goenkas pointing toward the entrance announcing Akshara’s arrival.

Abhimanyu turns to see Akshara who is making a grand entrance with music, dancers and special effects all around her. 

Stopping before Abhimanyu, Akshara sings a song for Abhimanyu and unveils herself while Abhimanyu looks at her with a love-filled gaze.

Feeling overwhelmed, Abhimanyu compliments Akshara for looking more beautiful than his imagination and feels lucky to be by her side. Just like Akshara, Abhimanyu's Pagdi holds their names together. 

They would have continued their talk till eternity if Dadi wouldn't remind them to perform the Warmala ritual. 

Smiling with glee, both Abhimanyu and Akshara face each other with Warmalas in hand. 

Before Abhimanyu could put a Waramala on Akshara, Kairav and Vansh lift her up in the air to make Akshara unreachable. 

Abhimanyu calls his cavalry too and between teasing and hooting from other members the Warmala ceremony is performed.

Later, Dadi asks everyone to get done with any games or rituals before the Phera Mahurat arrives.

Neil and Parth tell them that today they will not allow the brides sibling to steal the groom's shoes. 

However, Aarohi and Vansh play it cool and tells them they don't want to steal shoes because it is such an outdated ritual. 

However, Abhimanyu tells Neil and Parth to be cautious and also instructs them to not let his marriage go boring.

After getting done with the photo session, Neil asks to perform 'Tilak' and wash Aksahra’s feet to honour her and tricks the bride's family by stealing Akshara’s sandal.

Aarohi and others object to it while the elders enjoy their bantering.

Later, Abhimanyu carries Akshara to the Mandap where their life new journey awaits them.
